Well it is a very good episode but all of them from season 2 are good anyway. I liked that scene at the end when they posted all that stuff (have'nt seen it in a while) that was eye candy of the highest order.

The highlight of the show was the Australian guy, he was cool     Overall I liked the show, although I wasn't too keen on the ending, I'm not a big fan of singing in the show.

It was a good ep.  Not a classic along the lines of Amazon Women or Fryrish, but still a top-half episode.  Plenty of great one liners (Do a flip!  Hurry up and jump, Hermes!  Other people need that liver too!), a good story line, Fry gets some, Bender is Bender, what more do you want?

Hilarious episode. It's about time the outer space potato man got an episode of his own...even if he wasn't really on-screen very much, at least it was about him. Kinda. Well he was in the title. That's good enough for me.

The song rocked. It was catchy and funny and perfectly placed. Too many sitcoms try to force their songs into episodes, using them as a lazy way of resolving storylines. But this one seemed perfectly natural.

Plus it had the australian guy and Morgan Proctor. So sexy.

I like this episode, The porker part was funny, Morgan Proctor is very funny, and the song at the end was good.

I also like the way Bender's eyes were half shut, he look so cute.

I also liked Fry's "time makes fools of us all", and the owl which was caught in a spider web in Fry's living room... That's just hilarious  :)

Hi all,

this is one of my all time favourite episodes. Its just too damn funny. So there is no use quoting anything, as i had to quote the entire episode!   ;)

"Severely reduced pay all around!" "Hooorayy!!"

A shame that Season 3 fell a bit behind these great Season2 Episodes.

haha! Awesome name Dr. J! I love AoI.

HHRHGB wasn't great. It was sort of funny. But nothing centered around hermes is that great. He just isn't that funny. All the best parts were from other people.

Funny episode, not top-10 but good (what Futurama ep. isn't good  :D). After reading the synopsis I was glad Hermes finally got an episode centered on him. Why haven't they done this a long time ago, instead using him only to insult Zoidberg and act all bureaucrat-like? Well, now I know: Hermes isn't funny enough to carry an episode all by himself. Luckily he wasn't the main center of the episode. What we saw about him was however interesting, and absurd. We saw what his job involves, what makes him tick and how literal he takes regulations and laws. Funny in an absurd kind of way. Who other than a bureaucrat would make his own labour camp more efficient?

Zoidberg was just hillarious, as always. Both the pokergame and the labour camp/Spa V story was totally in character for Zoidy. And he has other patients other than teh PE crew. Poor patients.   :evillaugh:

Fry, Leela and Bender was good too. Fry's appartment and locker is just like I pictured them. An owl caught in a spiderweb, LOL. Bender cheating at poker, ofcourse. Leela taking charge when Bender's disc has to be found was also expected, and it was great to see her old colleages again. That whole poker thing was just great.

Farnsworth and Amy, they where there too.

Morgan Proctor, while funny in her function as a bureaucrat, is what really pulls this episode down. Her affair with Fry, not funny. All her "Dirty boy, dirty boy" just irritating. I hope I'll never see her again. Had they kept her as a strict bureaucrat it could have been much better.

All the bureaucratism was just beyond words in all it's absurdity. A rule for everything, and a deadpan face to announce it. And the "Bureaucrat Song", it rocked, one of the highlights of the entire series until now. ROFL. That couldn't have been any better. Just too bad Zoidy didn't get to finish his, it had potential.

Short comments. I like The beholder, waiting line outside, the Australian, Leela's old boss, the yoghurt.

I didn't care for the love affair or Morgan Proctor.

So to sum up, good work, I'll call it an 8

I think this def a better episode, just all around everything is good.

No one is really that bad, and I thought Hermes was funny, but the real stand out was the Australian guy & @ the end, when labarbara says
"hes got that whole camp being run by only a single Austrlian man."

talk about a bumped thread--

anyway, the episode is okay, not great-though the song at the end is good, and the way Zoidberg goes into his song but the credits cut him off. Morgan Procter was just annoying though

I adore this episode.  I have to be careful when I watch it, though, because Hermes' song gets stuck in my head and won't get out.  But it comes in handy when I have to do some organizational jobs around the house (what other tune can make you feel good about being anal retentive?     ;) )

I don't understand why people don't think Hermes is funny.  I laugh at almost anything he says.  I don't like him the way I like Fry and Leela and Bender, but he amuses the hell out of me.  The completely wacko juxtaposition of Jamaican laid-back and bureaucratic tight-assed never fails to tickle me.  Plus his voice is a joy to listen to.

Now, I wouldn't care to see much more of him in an episode than we did here - like Zoidberg, having him on stage too long wears away at the funny. But I totally dug his super filing skills saving the day.  And it was great to see LaBarbara again.

The Morgan Proctor plot I loved as well.  Her "dirt fetish" wasn't hilarious in and of itself (mildly amusing, but not laugh-out-loud funny) but Fry's reaction to it, and the situations it generated, were hysterical.  Her wreaking havoc at Planet Express was delightful.

The depth of Fry's messiness was perfect (perfectly exaggerated, that is) and yes, the owl in the web was a total hoot.  (Forgive me, I just HAD to say that.  Please don't hit me with a stick... )

In the end, I have only one thing more to say, but I believe it expresses my philosophy of life succinctly...

"When push comes to shove, you got to do what you love,
"Even if it's not a good idea!"

I thought this episode was kind of boring.  First, I didn't like Morgan Proctor at all.  And second, it seemed to just revolve around Hermes getting his ranking back at the beurocracy.  Why would a stiff like Morgan Proctor fall for such a loose guy like Fry anyway?

Don't get me wrong, Hermes is a good character, I like him.  Just that and as I said before, this episode about him was kind of boring.

I love this episode, so much in it.
Hermes is one of my favourite characters, one reason being his voice acter got shot in the face in the film Pulp Fiction.

The only thing I like about this episode is... Morgan Proctor so so sexy.  I admit this episode did have problems but, I want sit here and let you blam the problems on Morgan, if anything it's all Hermes falt.  And I hope they bring her back in the new episodes in 2008, most likly to get back at Hermes,Fry,Bender, and the rest of the Planet express crew for getting her fired, but I do want to see her again.

Well, I´ve always seen it as one of the weakest of Mcseason 2, maybe only second to Mars university. Plot was one of the least futuristic and while trying to be Hermes-related episode it quickly became about sily romance.
Altough I know that writing of series is complicated i think it suffered common problems of Bill Odenkirk´s stuff- no matter how good are the jokes, it is hardly plot-heavy.

The Central Bureaucracy is like the office where I work if you substitute an IT specialist for the giant floating eyeball. I wish real bureaucrats got badges but then knowing my own low administrative level might make things worse.

I really enjoyed this episode. I like that it fleshes out the normally tertiary character of Hermes, which is one of the main things I enjoyed about That Darn Katz! too.

Even though it's not one of my top episodes, I loved the poker bit at the beginning and absolutely adore the whole part at Central Bureaucracy, especially the song at the end! For some reason, I didn't really find Morgan Proctor very funny herself, but I did like seeing the effect she had on the Planet Express crew and how Fry responded to her advances.

Not the best nor worst of the Season. It was enjoyable to see a Hermes plot for once. We all know that the main highlight of the episode was Morgon though.
