Excellent first impression. Lovely smooth graphics, brilliant script and story. The cut scenes are fantastic! I liked exploring the PE building. I'm only on the Old New York level right now, so I can't give the whole game a mark yet. Although Frys levels are suprisingly tricky!

I'm onto Leelas levels now. I have to concur that the plot is well thought out, so far, and the levels are good but I just have to say that Leela is the most irratating character to control.

Farnsworth: Maybe my strategy of using a giant intergalatic spaceship to deliver one package at a time wasn't as successful as I'd hoped. Also, you three never charged anyone! Well the humour's there! They toned down the first crocodile bit in the Sewers level! No fair! I was waiting eagerly to hear everyone moan about the insane difficulty of that bit, and they only go and get rid of two of the crocs! I'm going to go sulk now . So far the game's great. They've definately improved the camera, which was my main beef, and it's just a joy to play. A bit hard, but that's how I like 'em . Accusing Parlour t'ain't there, sorry. I meticulously searched that level back in March at the game testing evening, back before they had quite so many hints (and Hermes' paper shredder hurt you if you went near it, making you wonder what on earth just happened). I don't think we ever saw where it is in the building anyway, so placing it could've been quite hard.

I'm on the downtown level, I love the designs on Moms hoverbots, realy cool. The only level I haven't enjoyed is Old New York, as it was horribley frustrating, and a bit dull. Those pigs with dineamite on their backs, Grrrrrrrrrr possibly the most anoying enemy ever! And Cube, how much have you been playing!? Leela's levels already! There's a bright sunny world out there too you know!

The cut scenes are right up there with the best episodes, and the lines inside the levels are fantastic. My onlu gripe is the complete lack of Hermes and Amy - they could've been on the ship. I think this is going up there in my top five episodes .

I finished the game this morning. Haven't got all the Nibblers but it doesn't unlock any original content that I haven't seen in the game anyway. The ending is pretty good, and ties up the loose end in the opening movie (you'll see what I mean). I just wish the game had been longer, but I'm not surprised it was short.
Overall, I enjoyed playing the game a lot, the cut-scenes were really very very funny, it's so obvious that they were written by a staff writer, someone with full understanding of the characters and their habits.
Let's just hope it sold enough copies to warrant a sequel, or a tie-in with the movie if that ever comes out. Games would be a great way for Futurama to live on until FOX ger their act together and order more eps.
Oh, and the ending is....well I'm not spoiling anything by saying it's "final", as all the interviews with the game producers said that. But I'm sure they have a contingency plan in case they get to make another game. And I'm fairly sure the game is set after Devil's Hands, anyone else have any thoughts on that?

No, that was the level I was on when I declared Leela the worst character ever, to control that is... Little tip, try running away from the explosive skeletons. I tried killing them for god knows how long.

Sorry about the double post. I have just finished the game. I agree with whoever said that the ending is very... final... and that it ties up all loose ends. Just one quote though: Destructor: And so I die the way I lived, as a giant robot.

Code for Bender: 0987654321 Code for Leela: 8442222448 1st Code for Fry: 1122448816 2nd Code for Fry: 9081726354
Benders Code counts down. Leelas is a mirror image. Fry's first is adding the two previous numbers Fry's second is the first number of the pair counting down from nine. The second number of the pair counting up from nought.

I'm stuck on that right now Kazz, i'll get there in the end I guess. Anyway here's my verdict on the game... The cut scenes are nothing short of a work of art! Often coming close to perfection! The lovely smooth graphics match the look of the show almost perfectly, whilst giving it a cool 3D enhancment. The story, characters, and script are all right on. The script could have been used as a normal episode of the show (it would need a bit of tweeking to fit into the normal 22 minute length though). Anyway, since this is an official licence I think we all knew that these elelments would be top notch anyway. So how is Futurama as a game? Pretty bloody good actually! So what if it doesn't make a bold new statement and revolutionise gaming. This is retro platforming action in all of it's glory! Each of the 3 characters play in a different style. Fry's section is a blasting weapons based adventure. Bender's section wouldn't be out of place in Spyro the Dragon or Crash Bandicoot (the boulder chase sequence being the most blatent tribute/rip-off). But since you're playing as Bender you get loads of funny lines to remind you that this is still Futurama. "This gem has the power to heal....MY EMPTY WALLET! AH HA HA!" & "I laugh at your pain!" Lots of people have complained about how difficult Leela is to control. I actually like her sections the most! This part of the game is a Tomb Raider style/ kung-fu fest. Leela also gets some of the best one-liners...(her health power-ups are bottles of vitamins) "Mmmm, pills taste like candy", "Wow, these are better than steroids!", "Another daily dose of vitamin Hi-Ya!". If you leave her stationary for too long you get "It's not polite to keep a lady waiting!". What I am pleasently suprised by is how much of a challenge the game is. I thought it would be way too simple. But almost every level has had me stuck for a certain amount of time. I'm currently stuck on an Indiana Jones style section of Leelas level "The right wing". God it's tricky. At times the game feels overly harsh, and you may get frustrated from time to time. But you get there in the end. This is a good thing realy, you don't want to complete it on day one do you!? OK i'm not going to let the fact that this is Futurama blind me into thinking it's perfect in every way. There are elements which needed more work. Some of the enemys are truely lame! The purple weasels on Bender's canyon levels taking the golden turkey award. Sometimes the camera gets trapped behind a wall (but this happens on almost every game at some point really). It's not a big problem though. I have the PS2 version, and sometimes when you enter a section with lots of activity and enemys all at once the frame rate drops for a few seconds and the PS2 makes a clunking noise. This may not happen with the XBox version? But this isn't the games fault really, the machine just can't handle it all the time. I'd like to have seen Zapp and Kiff atleast once (loading screens don't count) and since even Hermes and Scruffy feature briefly, Amy should too. But these are pretty minor problems. Futurama is a great fun retro game with a brilliant script and is truely essential for any fan. Here's hoping for a sequel. 8/10, 4****, or 80%

I like Fry's Wiggy Wam Wam Wozzle, the best out of all the in game comments. And I've got to the point where it has become the unoffical game slogan. Oh yeah one thing I've been meaning to ask: Does everyone know that Nibbler is superintelligent now or what?

Yesssss I finally got past that part on Leela right wing level with the sinking pilars! I'm now on the inner temple, I got to the sun god but I only had 1 life left, so I didn't get much chance to work out exactly what I had to do. Oh and Juliet don't press the buttons so hard!
