Wow...you guys make me blush.  I was just trying to contribute something cute to make up for the unpleasantness before, and you guys lavish love on me.  If there was a "crying in a happy way" smilie I'd use it.

All I can say is, I love all of you as well.  In a sincerely friendly way (that can't possibly be creepy, because I'm far too lazy to be a stalker).

After a moderately lousy day, this was a very sweet and uplifting surprise.   :)

P.S. - and a TotPD as well!  Okay, now I'm having a GREAT day!  WOOOOO!

Glad to make your day a bit more pleasent. (It's realy just returning the favor.)

And now if you listen to the radio you will probably get this...

HopelessShipper Presents: Real Shippers of Genius
(Real Shippers of Genius!)
Today we salute you oh Lord of the Prose
(Yeah we're talkin' bout Shiny!)
You supply us with analysis and fanfic far beyond
anything any other fandom has.
(Good thing your on our side!)
You can take a line of dialog or a couple seconds of facial expression and come up with several days worth of discussion.
(Oh so many big words!)
You know the thoughts of the entire writing staff before they have the time to think them.
(Tell me their blood pressure!)
So crack open an ice-cold can of whoop ass and dump it all over those anti-shipper mesage board trolls. You both deserve it.
(Oh sultan of the written word!)

I don't.  ;) But it's very flattering all the same, and the unfamiliarity leads to an amusing mental picture...I have an image of medieval monks chanting it Gregorian-style, rather like the ones in Monty Python and the Holy Grail who hit their heads with boards in between each line of Latin...

Hopeless:  I get it!!

Shiny:  Get thee to yon thread of poetics! Xanfor's doing his best Weird Al and I've impugned Poe’s honor yet again; but we need more contributers!

So... uh... yeah... Leela and Fry... pretty cool, pretty cool.  *knows he doesn't quite fit in with the shipper crowd*

Oh, you all with your poetry and your fanfics and stuff.  You know, some day I'm going to learn how to write funny.

At least, I'll learn how to write more than argumentative sociological analyses of -- yawn!  (That yawn was Fry.  And Bender. And the rest of the crew, except for Leela, maybe.)  But then there's Wernstrom.  Will no one but I post for Wernstrom?

Wernstrom!  (We have killbots, you know.)

So, fie with your creative writing.  My pedantic hectoring will more than make up for -- hey, folks, where are you going?  Will no one listen to my brilliant analyses except -- ?

Oh, it's you, Dr. Zoidberg.  Well, at least you stayed.  What?  You stayed for the muffins?  Nonetheless, you'll hear me say --.

We're out of muffins?  (Sighs.)  Come along, Cinnamon!

Actually it's a play on the Bud Light "Real Men of Genius" ads. I am so very depressed now...

I'd like to state for the record that I do know who Weird Al is and I admire him in the extreme.

Anyways, welcome groeningirl; I assume you're frycutiepie's successor?  ;)

Kudos to Xanfor for clarifying something he said a year and a half ago.

Where'd Shiny run off to? Is she dead? Or did she ditch us?

Not sure. I haven't seen her for over a year and a half.
