You can get a free (yes, free!) domain, try Yahoo! Geocities.
edit: I reckon Professor Zoidy could help. She's excellent with computers.

If you plan on making a media intensive (many and large images, mp3's, etc) website I strongly advise you not to use Yahoo! or Geocities, they have very stringent bandwidth limitations that will more often than not mean your website is offline. Just look at ANSTATMAW.

Try SmooveNet, they offer a lot for little money and include 1 year free domain registration.

Comparison of SmooveNet offers. Good luck on your website.

True, and I forgot about SmooveNet. Ah well, i'll go back to an amateur computer freak  tongue

btw, you said Yahoo! or Geocities. They're the same thing, called Yahoo! Geocities.
don't hurt me

They are? Hmmm, didn't quite know that. A good example of how 1 + 1 sometimes equal -47.

G-G-G Griffin?! What are you doing here? We'd like to tell you this: please stop advertising on the Futurama Force. It makes us really angry.

@Teral: Shame on you. You really got me thinking when you said 1+1 makes -47.

1+1=pizza

Teral: Has anyone tried to recreate the Amy Wong site somewhere else?

Griffin: Don't advertise on PEEL.  You will most likely be banned.

No, for two reasons...

1: ANSTATMAW is still online just prone to Geocities tight bandwidth limitations.

2: Recreating it somewhere else would be plagiarising (unless it was Andy himself or he gave his permission), which really isn't good form.

CGEF hosted a mirror as a one-time deal several years back, when Andy publicized his interview with David X Cohen. As expected the many visitors would pretty much put the site on downtime round the clock and a backup was created.
