I know I have asked this before, but...... Anyone have any idea when it's going to be out?  Or at least what it's about to be about?

Futurama Comics #20 is due for release in the States in May. Here's a synopsis of the issue:
Futurama Comics #20
by Patric Verrone & Tom King
Never before in the history of comics has there been an issue quite like this one! Bender, feeling under-appreciated, goes off on a mind-bending, time-twisting, space continuum-shattering odyssey that will take him across the galaxy and through the offices of Bongo Comics in a mad, mad, mad, mad chase. Only you, dear reader, will be able to bring him back when "Bender Breaks Out!"

This issue will no doubt have something to do with Bender's guest appearances in 'Simpsons Comics #99' and '#100' where he was seen mingling at a party and a comic convention

Hmmm, sounds interesting, but I wish they'd leave the Simpsons/Futurama stuff to the Crossovers. The Bongo office sounds scavy. Oh well, there's always still Issue #21...

Hmmm, I'm a bit dispointed with the crossovers too, but HEY, It's Futurama! And it's the next best thing to new episodes!

I can't wait until it comes out! I won't mind the crossover bit as much as the fact that it sounds like you won't see much of Fry, Leela, and the rest of the PE crew.

So, issue #20 won't be out until May?  I can wait that long.  As for the crossovers, they were more Simpsons than Futurama.

We've still not had the second part to the cross over (UK) yet, which sucks... and does anyone know where I can get my hands on issues #3 and #4?

I am really looking forward to issue 20. Patric Verrone has done some really fun stuff with the comics and I am glad to see him continue on contributing stories.  I just wish he would contribute more often as the comics could really use him considering how well he knows all these characters.  That and at least the first issue he did (The Cure for the Common Clod - Issue 11) was based on an idea from the show. This issue does not appear to be inspired from the show but still should be a good one.
I think the change in schedule to only 4 issues a year is a real detriment to the title and of course would suggest everybody to write in to Bongo and let them know we want our Futurama Comics!!  I would be more inclined to a quarterly schedule if they did things like increase the number of pages so that they could do their main story and then perhaps some back up stories.  I mean, where are the stories centered on characters like Zoidberg or Zapp? Let's have some of those once in awhile.  I would also like to see them change the size format if they are going to stay quarterly - make them bigger size like the Classic Simpsons or UK versions.  That, with additional pages/ material would at least make it feel as though we are getting something extra for only getting it 4 times a year.
Just my thoughts.

Glad to be back Otis - I plan to get back on the website in the very near future.  I have been having all sorts of computer problems for the past 6 months or so and have not been able to do much of anything.  I think I finally have them all solved and have actually been working on a small update for the short term and bigger stuff for the long term.

Hehe I just bought my first one ever and it's #14.
BAM! But since you are actually from MA which is where I'm from you might want to check a place called that's entertainment in Worcester because that's where I picked it up. But it was the only one of any issue there so I wouldn't check in very often.

Your site, bendo, is one of my favorite futurama sites (other than CGEF). I'm glad you have gotten updates in it. I also checked out the preview cover for #20 and I think it is awesome.

I just saw the cover of issue #20.  Looks promising!  So, now that the new Futurama comic is coming out in May, will it still come out every 2 months?

KurtPikachu2001, I believe for the rest of the year Futurama Comics will come out every two months but the overall schedule for it is to come out only 4 times per year.  The reason for the bi-monthly schedule for the remainder of the year is that the first part of the year was filled with the Crossover II.

I have a few spares kicking about myself, I'm waiting a few more years before I decide to sell them though...

last year I had the idea to sell my simpsons comics collection. about 100+ comics, a handful of them signed, all in mint condition, etc.
I would have gotten a few hundred for it, at least. now its worthless. I wouldnt even get 50 dollars for it.  sometimes selling comics later on isnt that great of an idea.

when you pay 2.50+ for a comic book 7 years ago, and its worth under a dollar now, I consider that worthless.

Well, I'm just saying, by now since the "Simpsons Classics" are starting to come out that should make the early Simpsons comics worth even more.

Is Issue #20 going to be crossed over with anything?  Also, will it be a continuing story like The Time Bender Trillogy?

Well, I checked the Diamond Comics site this week, and Futurama #20 is not on the release list for May 25.  With luck, it's only been delayed a week or two.
