Two awesome new episodes tonight. I won't review them until I get them downloaded, but they were certainly back up the usual high AD standard after some weird first episodes this season. They finally pulled the trigger on the Rita storyline, and with Charlize Theron only signed for one more episode, there doesn't look to be any more twists left. Unless, of course, it's a triple-swerve, which seems pretty unlikely. Larry the Surrogate continues to be awesomesque. I loved how George Sr. is still too lazy to even meet with his family in the penthouse and relies on Larry to do his work there. The Lindsay/Bob Loblaw thing didn't really click for me. Perhaps it was just my local station, but the show was joined like a minute into the program. Steve Holt is always a joy to watch. For once, he became a character instead of just a one-note joke. His desire to be loved by GOB and lying about the Triathalon show how similar he was to his father. And it's fresh to see Michael teamed up with someone fresh. However, the best part of the hour was Tobias vs. George Michael over the wreckage of Sudden Hill. By far the nerdiest joke they've done so far. And the return of Annyong...as the mole!

Haaaa. Awe. Some. Episodes. But I guess this means no more Kinda sad to see her go. She looked pretty good in this ep (with her camel tow ) Tobias telling George Michael to have sex with her was hilarious. I get the silver medal thing now. I didn't at first. That'd be the special olympics. *slaps forehead* Kinda disappointing that there isn't something else going on with Rita. Did we really need to wait this long to find out something we already knew? Is "pussy" something that isn't allowed to be said, or did they just choose to do that? Randi, a billion Asian women wanted me to tell you to back up off their men, slutbag. I cleaned it up a little.

Hahahaa, George Sr. got stuck in the closet... I came in about half way through (or the start of the second episode; I don't know), and it was a pretty good episode. Lots of little laughs...

Hey Everyone Long time lurker of this website, first post. Just wanted to let you guys know that fox will not be showing anymore episodes of Arrested Development until December and they cut back on the ordering the new episodes. So pretty much they are pulling a "Futurama", though I suppose I did see it coming (ie: changing times/days/lack of support). Anyways, just wanted to let people know, I am getting pretty tired of Fox pulling the shows I like mid-season.

Sorry. Its not officially cancelled, but you know how fox is. I really wanted to see the last episode with Charlize Theron in it, now we have to wait another month.

From the Variety article: On the positive tip, ABC has given a full-season pickup to Warner Bros. TV-produced frosh laffer "Freddie." Skein has consistently built on its adults 18-49 lead-in since bowing last month. *breaks down and cries* This is bad. As sucky as the order-cut last year was, I wasn't TOO upset. Going from 20 to 18(or however it went) makes good business sense, when considering the cost to produce each episode, the lack of ratings, and the fact that the DVD set will sell just as well for just as much money without the two extra episodes. But all the way down to 13 episodes? Bad bad bad news. I am very sad. And the worst part is, I didn't like last week's Godzilla gag. For a good ten minutes after the episode ended, I was sitting there thinking "that whole jetpack thing was pretty cheesy...and why would Tobias hear that they wanted him to be a 'mole' and then literally dress up in a mole costume? Sure, the 'capturing' of George Sr. was pretty cute, but it's too much of a stretch. Not even Tobias is that dumb..." And then I hear this. It's like getting really mad at my best friend and then hearing that they have cancer and will die by the end of the year. And on top of that, I can't even see them for another month? What crap. Also, when did Variety turn into a bunch of retards? Seriously, stop saying "skein"! And "laffer"? "Laffer"??? Please go kill yourself.

I love how every article that mentions this has a headline like "Arrested Development cancelled." See, cause I don't know about you, but that would make me think that from here on out, no more eps will be produced and/or shown. Nobody cancelled it... yet.
I think it's kinda like titling an article "Man battling cancer dies," then talking about how he WILL be dead pretty soon, but you know, it's a sure thing.

I think that the throat surgery actually only happened a week or two ago. Either way, he'd be out for two weeks minimum afterwards... Still, they would've filmed more than just the first 5 episodes at this point.

Originally posted by Jeremy: And double hopefully, some other network will pick it up. When Fox cancelled Grounded for Life, it was picked up by the WB, and it ended with the 92nd episode, now it's on syndication on ABCFamily. So you never know, hopefully another show will realize AD's genius, and pick it up. Originally posted by Jeremy: And triple hopefully, FOX will rot in hell. Asshats. That would be too kind for Fox. Originally posted by evan: I think Bateman already had the throat surgery a few months ago. So I don't believe that's why FOX is not running AD during November. Originally posted by Beamer: I think that the throat surgery actually only happened a week or two ago. Yeah, I read in TV Guide, that he went in for surgery on November 1st. Originally posted by evan: And I can't boycott FOX, because in the new year they'll show House and 24 back to back. But aside from that, the network is dead to me. I thought 24 was going to be on Mondays at 9pm. Originally posted by Agent Rodriquez: On the main page of aol.com there is a link to an online petition for Arrested Development. The Get Arrested thing helped bring us another season, maybe this will too. They already have over 13,000 signatures. Here is a direct link http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/arresteddev I appreciate the fact that you like the show, and want to do everything you can to bring it back, but online petitions don't work, they're impersonal, unlike handwritten ones, but I doubt anyone wants to take the time and effort to pass around a petition. Originally posted by ~FazeShift~: I hope rumours of Showtime taking it over from Fox, as this page declares. Showtime? That means there won't be any bleeps, I personally think it's funnier with the bleeps.
