Bump for more Season 10 News: I found this while searching for a way to subtly compare McKay to Voyager's Doctor. There's really not. I think I just had a crossovergasmSeriously, I love SG-1 so much right now. It's like they're a home for all the scifi actors whose own shows should still be on the air.

As long as they use the term "companion" whilst she's on-screen, I'll be happy.

I liked in the Atlantis episode when they find the Ancient ship....
Sheppard: "What are we going to call it?" McKay: *raises hand* Sheppard: "We're NOT calling it the Enterprise!" McKay: *lowers hand*

Heh, I was just watching "Prometheus", O'Neill wanted to call it The Enterprise too. JOKE STEALING! Also, try and spot how many actors they share, that tall long haired bearded guy from Taylas people = same guy in that weird village in SG-1, woman doctor that Carson has the hots for = archeologist on the Tok'ra harvesting planet in SG-1! Even Daryl Shuttleworth has been in two SG-1 episodes as two different guys! Commander Tagar AND Commander Rigar!

No! Has the Star Trek franchise reached overkill? Well, as long as it keeps entertaining me, I love the SG Universe. *zats nasty*

Not to mention that this actor has played two different characters in the same epsiode. Bow before Jeffrey Combs world! Or take the guy who played Admiral Forrest on 'Enterprise'. He has played several Aliens on Star Trek before that. Of course, on Stargate this not really possible, as most of the aliens look rather like humans and not like, let's say, Klingons.

Yeah, the only really extra terrestrials I recall seeing were The Wraith, Ori, Unas, and Kull Warriors.
Oh yeah and a bunch of weird ones in that episode with Carter and an alien in this big space race....

Did you just list non-human aliens and *NOT* include the Asgard?

Hallowed are the Ori.
I think that head Ori guy looks like Grand Admiral Thrawn.

Did we ever actually see them in an episode? I remembered them being mentioned in "The Fifth Race" but nothing after that...

Apparently, Jonas recognised it, assuming he read every bloody thing Daniel Jackson took down as notes! ("I'm a quick study!" was such a plot bonus) Probably from that early Torment of Tantalus episode with the room with the "meaning of life stuff". Maybourne is a cool character, hope they bring him back again. And not have Wayne frickin Brady there too! Honestly, how can you imagine someone being a First Prime after seeing them dance in Whose Line is it Anyway?! Fazes trivia of the week: At least 3 main characters of BSG have appeared on SG-1, name who they play in both shows!

Why, that's something that's never been done before. ~Faze~: I don't care about Battlestar Galactica, but I can name the two Farscape actors and one Firefly actress that have/will have appeared in SG-1. I just don't want to.

It's almost Mel Brooksian - a movie based on the show based on the movie.

Yeah, but what about a 3rd spinoff series based off movie based off a series based off another movie. Bitch.

In other news, the DVD collection of TNUK swells to include SG1's first season boxset, and the others are on the way... Yet another sci-fi show that I am doomed to watch endlessly in a transparant attempt to escape however briefly from this terrible, crappy planet.
