It's possible someone has actually framed Sandy for the purpose of drawing Spiderman out and forcing his hand. THAT seems more the style of the books. We'll have to see. I trust Raimi.

Jay: Dude this isn't news to me. I've known for at least 2 years that they were gonna do a Carrey-less sequel to Bruce Almighty. Kind of a bummer. But this has potiential. Irregardless, they should have never made Dumb and Dumberer or SOTM, but hey I liked the latter. I went in knowing it was a damned film no matter what, but I enjoyed it. I thought it was cute. Me and Jamie Kennedy's mom really liked it.

Evan Almighty sounds...okay. Not great, but...okay. I'll see it, but it's destined to suck, even if it has Steve.

I felt the opposite of Reid with D&Derer and SOTM, since I liked Dumb and Dumberer and thought SOTM was crap.

The Bruce Almighty sequel sounds just about as good as the first one. Remember, Bruce Almighty wasn't shatteringly good. It was okay. This one will be just about as good, and at least they're not casting some random actor. Steve Carell is pretty good.

Yes I have read and heard about this. This may be good without Jim Carrey. Steve Carell could pull this off. He is funny.

Aye, chances are it'll be one of those pretentious films where you hate the actors, like the kids in Harry Potter one, that acting was shit like.

But then again, Im guessing its a family movie, so I guess it has to cater for all....

Surprisingly for me I actually want to go see a movie at the cinema, that new Denzel Washington one 'DeJa Vu' - looks pretty cool

Next year is all about the Simpson's movie though B)

1: I hadn't read the book
2: I was being forced to sit with a fat emo suck who I didn't want to see again

Aye, the book (+sequel) was pretty good. therefore, it seems only sods law that it will suck.

Help me out here then. Im goin to the pics this week. Most likely I cant get in for an 18, which I dont really want to see anyway. Its most likely going to be Miss Potter, Happy Feet (which I dont fancy tbh), Eragon, or Night at the Museum. What do you guys think?

The rest of my fam liked Night At...but again, its as to whether there is enough to keep me and my friends occupied. Although there is Owen Wilson....:P

Other than that, can anyone recommend anything?

I keep seeing the preview for the movie 'Smokin Aces'.  I've decided I MUST see this movie, and I don't care if it turns out to suck ass.  But it looks like so much fucking kick ass to me!

I liked the dark feeling of the 2nd one. It reminded me of the ESB of one of the better movie trilogies.
