Yes, but I've heard that Eddie was unfairly blamed for alot of SmackDown!'s problems. Though they really weren't his fault the Champion usually gets the blame, because he's supposed to carry the show. We all know that the low PPV buy rates were caused by JBL though. Right now it looks as though
So I don't think things look that good for Eddie or the fans of Smackdown! You do have a good point about Triple H and HBK both being on RAW though, but Benoit just seems to have that special something as champion (It's all in the way he carries himself). I'm hoping Vince notices it too.

I don't know why you guys are so confident, WWE wouldn't put the belt on a guy who only works part time.

JBL is going to keep that title till WM, thats my bet. Which is good, because I happen to like him.

I've just herd rumors. Nothing more. But I wouldn't rule it out completly, because Taker is a big star, and the may try to raise the falling Smackdown rating by banking off his popularity. Many ex-wrestling fans whom the WWE are trying to get back know who the Undertaker is, few would know who JBL is.

I'm biased with everything I say here now because I've grown so tired of wrestling in general, but I don't think they should have tried to "re-invent" 'Taker as the dead man again....

Back when he was originally that character, he was great you know, seemed to be unbeatable and all that....he had this "vibe" about him....then he did the biker thing for a few years, now he's back as the dead man it's not the same....

It's like Vince has said to the fans "Taker is a normal guy like you or me, he rides a bike and kicks arse....anyway here he is again pretending to be dead...."

I got carried away but I just don't think you can go back to a gimmick and pretend the last one didn't happen....but that's wht the WWE is all about isn't it....?

I think they just want to make taker look unstoppable and mysterious in his twilight years, and the only way to do that was make him the deadman. But since he just came out of a different gimmick, they had to sort of mix the two gimmicks together.

But the thing with Taker's new Deadman gimick is that it isnt exactly like the old Deadman gimick. He is more of a "Dead Biker" than a "Dead Gravedigger". He still has that Biker ora about him, with the spooky and mysterious gimick of the Deadman thrown over it.

Exactly, and to me, there is nothing wrong with evolving a gimmick. They went back to Dead-man without totally backtracking his career.

And hey, now he uses the Last Ride AND the Tombstone.

I just think that there was something satisfiying about having a stirring voice-over (by Kurt Angle, of all people) leading up to Batista catching a long-jumper mid-air and chokeslamming him into the sandpit.  Hilarious!

WOOO, go Orton! I didn't see this one in theatres as I did with the last few Raw PPVs. For some reason it costs like $12 more.    :(

*Edit* And the Undertaker didn't win. That's good. I was worried that he would. I'm not the biggest JBL fan but he's a better champion than the Undertaker would be in his current state (as Coop put it, his "Twlight years" ). Good call on that one , Coop.

I just hope Orton starts to humble himself more.  Now that he's been removed from Evolution, how will he cope with being on his own?

I have a question is the "woman" helping Victoria, Stevie Richards?

Yeah, it's Richards. He did the same thing a few weeks ago, I thought it was hilarious.

And this is an obvious sign of an Orton face turn, so this could be good in the following weeks. I feel sad seeing Benoit dissapear from the title scene, but as long as he doesn't end up like Jericho, I'm happy.

I'm still pissed that THQ didn't put Tommy Dreamer in a god damned game before he retired. I hate the way they trim the roster and only put the most popular guys in. I want everyone under WWE contract. They did it with No Mercy, I don't understand why they couldn't do it again. So yes, I do feel cheated.

THQ promised "CURRENT CHAMPIONS."

La Resistance have been champs consistantly for 2 years, and they are not in this game or HCTP. No Spike Dudley, No Paul London or Kidman, no Hurricane and Rosey.

But get this, we got BRUTUS BEEFCAKE!!

Oh..ok.

Is Shelton Benjamin ever going to be back on RAW?

I miss Test and Scott Steiner.  Are they still injuried? or were they released?

Steiner's gone, that sucks.  Did he ever use his Survivor Series favor?  Remember when Bischoff rewarded those who helped stripped Austin of his GM Power.

HHH- World title shot
Orton- IC title shot
Flair and Batista- Tag Team title shot
Theodore Long and Marc Henry- Theodore was GM for a day.
Christian- Got Lita rehired, after she was "fired"
Jericho- Gave it up to save Trish from facing Kane.

I don't remember Steiner ever using his.  I thought he would return and use that as part of a storyline.

I reckon he was just a face waiting to happen all along... I hate it when WWE puts no conviction into their characters.

I agree about Diva Dodgeball. Plus, I think the last thing the WWE needs is another no-name, big-titted, blonde bitch who's only wrestling prowess is to distract the male wrestlers and then take them out with a shoe or something when their back's turned.

I miss Chyna.

Chyna was indeed female.
