I'm predicting Benoit retaining. I really don't want to see HBK as champ again.

I got my remaining Wrestlemanias through in the post today (which brings my collection of WM's back up to twenty, that's with WMXX taped off Sky Sports), was able to watch XIX for the first time, which was a pretty good PPV.

XIX is a personal favorite for me.
Yeah Shelton winning was cool. Bradshaw looks to be getting a pretty big push as well, which I also like very much.

I think it is completely neccessary. There are just too many superstars to work on one brand.
If they were all together on one brand, they would just end up keeping some superstars on one show in order to cover feuds well and also the travel schedule would be hell. Seeing as Smackdown and Raw travel in different cities, wrestlers would be back and forth and everywhere at once, it would be hectic.
Also, with two different brands traveling to different cities and countries, this allows them to get more house shows in.

Nowinski has chronic migrains.
Terri has been fired, as well as Sean O'Haire today.

That's simple:
Sean O'Haire - They weren't really going to use him anyway, so it's better to let him be free with the chance of a return someday.
Goldberg - Contract expired, had a hard time reaching a new agreement.
Goldust - Getting old, should have just given him the Dustin Rhodes gimmick, but oh well, have to make room for new guys.
Brock Lesner - quit to join NFL.
Terri - who acctually cares? She wasn't really doing anything anymore anyway.

That's right. He had a unique style. Sean is acctually very skilled in martial arts and has a great "Sean-ton bomb" that they wouldn't let him do.
Regardless of how good he was in the ring, WWE saying they are going to release O'Haire Wasn't "telling me anything I didn't already know."

No, it was the Swan-ton bomb that Jeff Hardy used to use. I guess they said he couldn't use it because Jeff was around, when Jeff left I guess he had just grown acustomed to not using it.

He was a jerk backstage and refused to up his in-ring work. Just look at his match with Brock Lesner.
I don't think his heart is in the business. Same with Lesner. It's weird, Goldberg has spent so much time in Japan but still isn't very good in the ring.

First off I think Triple H will win at Backlash, he's had the title 9/10 times last year. Maybe this year will be different, although it's doubtful.
Second, where is the Undertaker? Last I saw he tombstoned Heyman, did they just bring him back for Wrestlemania XX?
I think the Goldberg-Lesnar match was awesome, I was looking foreward to that match for awhile, and it stinks that they both left. I wanted to see rematch.
Fourth- I think the Big Show should be champ again, that John Cena punk robbed him of his U.S. title at Wrestlemania, but Show will get a WWE title shot WHEN he wins that Angle Great American Award.
Lastly, I don't think Farooq was let go for good, I think there will be Farooq-Bradshaw fued in the future which I would love to see.

Well I doubt that this guy will ever even post here again, but I'll try to reply to him anyway: Originally posted by Lrrr_2004: First off I think Triple H will win at Backlash, he's had the title 9/10 times last year. Maybe this year will be different, although I doubt.
I think you may be right, too bad I haven't liked Triple H since before Wrestlemaina X7, and Benoit is an awesome champ. Second where is the Undertaker? Last I saw he tombstoned Heyman, did they just bring him back for Wrestlemania XX?
As far as I know, he's still a part of WWE. It's just that his body is on the verge of falling apart from years of injuries and age, so WWE uses him sparingly on regular shows, and have him doing most of his wrestling on Pay Per View so Vince can get his moneys worth out of old 'Taker. I think the Goldberg-Lesnar match was awesome, I was looking foreward to that match for awhile, and it stinks that they both left. I wanted to see rematch.
Brock was, quite frankly shoved down our throats, and Goldberg is only good in small doses. I'm glad they're both gone, although I would have liked to see Austin vs. Goldberg simply for the WWF vs. WCW aura it has. Funny, most consider this the worst match of WM XX. Fourth- I think the Big Show should be champ again, that John Cena punk robbed him of U.S. title at Wrestlemania, but Show will get a WWE title shot WHEN he wins that Angle Great American Award.
Cena is a more popular wrestler with both casual fans (marks), and dorky internet fans (smarks). Back at the beginning of his WCW run as The Giant, show was a decent wrestler. Around the time he joined the nWo, and put on like 150 lbs. his in ring ability went down and he hasn't really been main event material since. Also you do realize that Show has had the WCW World Title/WWE Title and his moment in the sun several times already don't you? Cena is a fresh face, and a better wrestler to boot. He deserves the US title more than Show, and I would much rather see Cena as the WWE Champ than Big Show. Lastly, I don't think Farooq was let go for good, I think there will be Farooq-Bradshaw fued in the future which I would love to see. No wrestlers are ever "let go for good". If WWE sees a sutible storyline for him, or think he has potential to draw big ratings, they'll bring him back. While I'll be the first to admit that the WWE has had some very bad storylines over the last year, I doubt that a Farooq/Bradshaw fued will help matters much. Now I have a question for you Lrrr_2004. You do realize that the winners of wrestling matches are predetermined right? Because it doesn't seem like you do after reading your post. *Edit* On a side note, I love your Fire Pro Wrestling Z sig Coop.

The wrestling is more popular, do you think anyone would care if the wildlife fund changed it's name?
Oh, and sorry to change the subject but does anyone know why my threads keep getting cancelled? Any info would be much appriciated.

Eh, n00b threads aren't appreciated much around here. I've never started a thread before, and look at how long I have been here!
NWA TNA is very close to striking a TV deal with Fox sports. I am so excited!

I think that the ammount of X-matches are fine at the moment. In fact, maybe too many. I know that I am in the minority here, but to me wrestling has become too much dazzle. Too many crazy bumps and flips and leaps and little to no wrestling at all. I don't mind the crazy stuff, but I believe that because of it, wrestling fans expect to be shocked every single match. This is why people are put off by guys like Bradshaw and Big show, because they don't believe that anything else is acceptable! The reason I watch wrestling is because I want to see guys with different styles facing off. It just upsets me that in the future, this could be all there is. A lot of people say they are happy to see the "Big man" style go, but I'm not.

Oh, jeez. I didn't mean you shouldn't find it entertaining, I love wrestling too. I just thought that you where taking things seriously when you were talking about Big Show's loss to Cena. Originally posted by Coop That I'm not sure of. Perhaps they saw more potential in Rosey.
I heard something about this awhile ago, either he got fired for using drugs, or from injuring someone from being too stiff. It could have been a combination of both.
