Second to that OC_James.  I thought Vol 2 seemed more Tarantino-ish.  None the less they are both great and if they were together as one, as I hope it will be released soon, it would be the greatest movie ever.

Just saw Kill Bill Vol 2 yesterday. I know there's been alot of reviews already...

You know, there was an overdose of killing and action in the first movie (which I could take into stride), but everytime we were due for another fight scene, it would end every time after less than a minute! Beatrix and Bill, Beatrix and EyePatchWoman (?) and Beatrix and Budd as examples. They clink blades, stare at eachother intensely then someone would either shoot the other, or poke an eye out, or get done in a move so good that there is no need for a whole fight scene.
My point? It was a little disappointing in that fact.
BUT - I quite enjoyed the character development and the story backgrounds, flashing into their memories. Eg. The connection of Pai Mai's wood punching move was what saved her from being buried alive.. etc etc..

Maybe a bit of a weak ending... Yay, drive off happily into the sunset with BB. Everything in the world is stable once more. Predictable? Yea... but maybe that's what we were all there for; hence the title of the movie was KILL BILL.
