Yeah, that annoyed me. John Howard hasn't been PM in, what, a year now? Oh well. Good episode, but not perfect. The premise was pretty retarded even if the point it made was spot-on. I mean, isn't Earth supposed to be an intergalactic reality tv show? And we've had aliens on the show before! Gah. Maybe I'm expecting too much from South Park.

Randy's Princess Leia "disguise" was fucking hilarious though.

just saw today's episode.  Cartman decides to move to Somalia and become a pirate.  I haven't laughed that much at a South Park episode since season ten.

I watched the Queef episode, and the Toy Car Warp Drive episode. They're were alright, kinda bland. I guess it was better back in the day.

Oh my god. The scene where Kyle reads Ike's Letter and mention Susan Boyle was fucking brilliant. the episode was good. Love Pirate Cartman. Love the song too

No truly terrible ones so far this season, but there have been no truly classic ones either. I really enjoyed The Coon, Pinewood Derby, and Fatbeard, the rest were average to below average.

So, the first half of Season 13 is over. So far it's been VERY hit-or-miss, but still an improvement on last year's very disappointing season. The all-out theme episodes have proven the best so far, with The Coon and Fatbeard being the obvious stand-outs. Fishsticks, although retarded, was hilarious. Margaritaville and Pinewood Derby had their moments but could have been a lot better, The Ring was below average and Eat, Pray, Queef was pretty much one of the worst episodes ever.

Still, they finished on a high note. Fatbeard was awesome. I think The Coon is the only truly classic episode so far this season, though.

I think Pinewood Derby started off well, but I felt it was lacking as I watched it a little more.
Fishsticks, The Coon and Fatbeard were my favourites.

I dunno, the new episode was... weird. A few laugh-out-loud moments and they actually did a decent job at not ramming EVERY running gag into the ground (apart from the Chipotle one). Unfortunately, as soon as Michael Jackson came into it, the whole thing just became The Jeffersons Part 2. While I'm not personally offended at all, the whole thing was in pretty bad taste with no real point to it, and I imagine they're going to cop a LOT of shit in the media over the next week.

Still, it wasn't bad by any means, just... average. I'd give it a C.
