Okay, now I think we're both saying things that we don't mean. Let's simmer down.

I just saw The List... haha, what a great episode. Unfortunately, it's too bad that the rest of the last two years of South Park is failin' like Sarah Palin.

Don't cry, Sarah Palin, I only say things like that to get your attention. :(

*hugs*

Speaking of which, Trey and Matt have been pretty restrained this election season. What are they up to? :hmpf:

I assume they recognize that this election year's already a perfect parody of itself. Making fun of it would be redundant.

I was watching the episode, thinking it was OK, not terrible, better than the bulk of season 12 so far, then a live action hamster ran past and I totally lost it. I can't wait for this week's episode.

I'm assuming (guessing?) the connection between the flute bands and the guinea pigs has something to do with guinea pigs being a food source in the Andes.

Craig was hilarious, the guinea pigs were adorable, and the direction was great for Randy's part (plus that one normal shot where it's a fully lit store and he's just running around like a retard was hilarious).

But they seriously need to do less two-parters, because while the second part was pretty good, first part still dragged a lot more and this sudden onslaught of two-parters is starting to get really annoying.

Way better than las t week's, loved the guinea bee, dinosaur, and pilot, also liked Craig's narration and the pan flute version of "cars"

The second part was much better than the first, but I dunno, Craig's constant whining and Randy's narration kind of got on my nerves. It had the best guinea pig attack scenes I've ever seen outside of a porno, though!

One question: Are guinea pigs already an established internet meme, or are Trey and Matt trying to get in on the ground floor of starting one?

I wouldn't really call it an internet meme, it's more of a theme of their own.

Trey and Matt have used real live small cute animals before, in Team America. The kittens, remember?

Also, so far I got the references to the Mist and Cloverfield, are there any I missed?

I didn't like Pandemic. Craig's rants were funny at first but got annoying fast, the "I'm so startled" thing was funny ONCE then they rammed it into the ground like they always do now, guinea bees, guinea pirate and guineasaurus rex provided some laughs, but again, the joke was overdone. WHY do Matt and Trey try to turn every remotely funny thing into a runner now? Just because something is funny once doesn't mean you should keep doing it again and again. Come up with MORE jokes. It will make it funnier overall. Arrrgh. Even watching the episode with a bunch of friends when we were all stoned, it got only a few laughs and the ending was met with silence followed by "... Wow, that was really retarded." The only gags I really loved were Randy's interactions with Shelley ("Hold out your hand so it looks like you're holding it!") and the shot in the mall where it reveals Randy is just running around, acting out of breath and making the camera jerky on purpose. I'm amazed you guys enjoyed it so much.

I don't know I agree that this has pretty much the worst season so far, but I have to give them the nod on this one. I enjoyed this episode. The "startled" stuff did get old, but Craig had me in stitches every time.

definitely the best episode since they started airing this fall, mabe even the best of the season.  I laughed so hard at the overreaction of the McCain supporters and the partying Obama supporters.  I know a few McCain supporters *cough* my parents *cough* that think the world is coming to an end, and a few Obama supporters who practically think this is the second coming.  Hurray for South Park finally giving us some more of that political satire that makes it so great!

I enjoyed the new episode. Great political satire with a crazy-ass subplot, lots of laughs, nothing too forced. Still not up to the standards of previous seasons, though, but far better than just about everything else in Season 12.

Grrruhhh... the obligatory election episode was alright! Nothing really memorable, except for maybe that scene with Palin stripping down to the jumpsuit and twirling the whip. I'll always remember that. :)

New one is called "Elementary School Musical"

Quote
NEW YORK, November 10, 2008 – The boys realize they are no longer the coolest kids in school. Stan realizes he could lose Wendy if he doesn’t get on board with the latest fad to hit South Park Elementary. Cartman would rather kill himself than succumb. But, when Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman all realize that Butters is now more popular than they are, they have no choice but to give in to peer pressure.

If you like the last song you can download it here: Do What You Wanna Do

Here's the lyrics:

Stan:
Cause you gotta
Do what you wanna do
Don't let anything get in your way,
Chase your dream everyday
True girl, you know it's true
That if you wanna be you,
You gotta do what you wanna do!

Stan:
He was unhappy
Cuase he just wanted to play ball

Cartman:
But he finnaly got the courage
To answer his High School

Stan:
Just like what he ever wanted
Was to sing and dance
But now I've stood up for my dream
I've finnaly got the chance

All:
You gotta do what you wanna do
Even though the people don't really want you to
True girl, you know it's true
Gotta do the thing you do
is the thing that you should do

Kyle:
Some kids think I'm strange
Cause I like studying for an exam
But I don't let that bother you cause that's who I am

Cartman:
And I like nothing better than making fun of jews
And ripping on black people
Though some poeple think it's rude, but you gotta

All:
Do what you wanna do
Just make sure what your doing
Is cool and popular with everyone else
True baby, true, and true
When your eating jerky
If eating jerky is what you wanna do

Rap:

Kyle:
Do what you do, don't have restrant

Cartman:
Don't stress about it or you might just faint

Kenny:
Mmmph mmmmph mmph mmmmmmmhp mmph

Stan:
You gotta do what you wanna do

All:
Do what you wanna do
As long as what you want to do
Is what everyone wants you to
Blue baby, why so blue?
Just incase of what your doing....
