Am I the only one starting to turn against Locke? While he's always been a loner and weird, this episode showed a darker side of him. There's something unsetting about his behavior now. Before, he was so calm in the face of whatever problem. Now, I dunno, I think he may be siding against the camp and with the Others (they respect the island's properties, too). He definately attempted to drive a wedge between Charlie and Claire, and not simply so he could "get with" Claire. IMO, he wants Aaron for something. Notice how bizarre he acted when Charlie brought up baptism? Not like Charlie is completely blameless in all of this. While he hasn't gone back on the horse (that we know of), his behavior has fallen over the edge. Compared to Ana-Lucia (killed Shannon), Sayid (tortured Sawyer), and Locke (killed Boone), he seems to get more flack for his deeds than others have. It's weird: I'm actually rooting for a tv character to overcome his problems and get with the girl. That almost never happens. I like Charlie-centric episodes. The question was "why does Charlie feel he needs to care for someone?" The pressure put on him from his mother to take the family out of poverty as well as caring for Liam really fleshes out his character. I don't see where the complaints are coming from. Found this while surfing around: www.driveshaftband.com A pretty good episode, IMO. Topped off with Hurley dressed as Joseph in the hallucination.

I thought that was weird too, since John is the "faith" side of the "faith vs fact" coin he shares with Jack. I guess when Locke says faith he means like, faith in fantasy island and magic numbers. I think that you have to at least realize that Charlie is seen as a threat to a NEWBORN baby. It's not like he accidently shot the baby and it was over. And A-L hasn't shot anyone since Shannon, so it's fair to say that it was just an accident... short of inventing a time machine, I'm not sure what the Jackies would have her to do that she isn't already doing. Sayid has a lot of useful skills and again, only tortured Sawyer once, plus Sawyer was a real asshole last season, so lots of people probably wanted to kick his ass as well. And I'm pretty sure that no one misses, or even remembers Boone, especially since Shannon is dead now too. Charlie has repeatedly done things that either creep out Claire, or potentially harm the baby and the other Jackies. It's not a one time, I was sleepwalking, excuse. And I'm sorry if he has "family" issues, but I think so do a lot of people on this island and they aren't turning to kidnapping and drug fondling. PS- I pretty much like Charlie though, I'm just saying, I can see why people would be pissed. PPS- I don't think John is trying to "get with" Claire. ew. PPPS- Libby and Hurley are totally cute! "I haven't shaved my armpits in 50 days, but let me change into this sexy top!" Does anyone else have a problem with thinking of the poor dead woman who once owned that top? Talk about a mood killer...

Not so odd. Hurley's worth millions of dollars, right? Maybe Libby's an intinctive gold-digger. However, if she did not somehow detect Hurley's sugar-daddy potential, it would be quite odd. I'm pretty sure beautiful women don't spontaneously change into sexy outfits in the presence of fat dweebs. Believe me, I've been a fat dweeb for a while now. Of course, it's possible she thinks Hurley is gay and is thinking of him more like one of her lady-friends, but who knows for sure?

I think Libby is the most ultimate gold digger ever in history! We're going to see some Libby/Hurley action and then she's going to rob him and he'll be working at that chicken place or wherever again.
Also, I thought Locke was cool but now he's evil and is framing Charlie while he has secret connections with the Others. Personaly, I really like Charlie.
Does anyone else think that maybe Jack and Ana-Lucia and going to be "hitting it"?
I'm hoping that in the next episode we'll find out more about Syaid and or Sawyer. More Sawyer though.

I only remember one, where he shot that guy and when he met Jack's father. That might have been two different ones I guess.

Yes, I know it's a rare occurence, but DT88 was being sarcastic. Then again you never really know about the survivors until they have their own flashback episode. Maybe Rose sold poisoned milk to school children or kicked puppies or something. You just never know on the IoM.

Yeah, it would at least answer one undying question: how did a dog in a kennel in the cargo hold of an airliner survive a fall to Earth? IoM magic or evil, canine superpowers? Of course, if they stuck with the whole "people who don't speak English don't understand English" thing they established with Jin, the whole episode would look something like this.
