:Sigh: Well there go my abitions to show that there is more to anime than mechs and T&A. Ahh well if you can't beat them

Have some pictures of Dears, not a fantastic series but interesting in it's own way.

And a picture of Sion from Xenosaga linked for cheekyness (pun intended)

She's  a cheeky girl

I'll never forget my friends face when he saw the end of .hack twilight.

Watching his grammace at smelling month old limburger could not have been more satisfying.

I told him all along that nothing could be more agonizing than a Lain rip-off with one dimentional characters who talk Non-stop about videogame physics, (when the cat-girl says something about leveling up or improved items, drink) but he kept up with faith that it would have an ending to match the halfway decent .Hack sign.

When the ending turned out to be corny, and happy and gleeful... That face.  Worth every episode of this agony.

Hey PItt, you been buying the .hack games?  Is the storyline worth me a) finishing the first one and b) buying the other 20 chapters?

I say .Lame.

I have never been overly impressed with .hack enough to blow more cash on it.  Maybe if they'd made it more like zelda or river city ransom, they might have been onto something, but the wander, kill, wander thing, coupled with boring dungeons got old fast.

Let the .Hack slide, man.  For Anime+game action...Try Zone of the Enders, then tell me how good it is.

I wish someone would put this .Hack stuff on the shelf and go out and translate the Serial Experiments Lain game instead.  I've seen footage.  Very creepy.

I personally don't consider Teen Titans to be real anime and question why it's in here.

I tentatively agree with starone While Teen Titans clearly, make that blatantly has Anime influences, it is and shall be made in the USA.

I also agree... then again I was never one to put all my television into categories and sub-genres.  Also I think the word anime itself when used in our "Western" world has grown to accompany a negative context, due to all the I can speak 3 lines of japanese and I've seen all of Sailor Moon fanboys.  I'm not sure about what I'm getting at, I need to go buy the Bebop dvds.... ¬_¬

you know, anime means "animation" in Japansese. Looney Toons is anime over there. It's not just Japanese animation.

Besides, the Teen Titans girls are hot.

YEah, but that's on the other side of the pond.  Over here, you say "anime" Someone instantly knows what you are referring to.  The same as when you say "cartoons" over here.

This is one odd pond, we're on the right and Japan is on the left so either you guys are floating on water or you are the water...

Anywho, some more pics from me because I love you all. And I don't intend to brain wash you all and harvest your organs. Not at all.

I'm thinking about buying the boxed sets (hong kong) for Big O, but not because I like Big O (Haven't even seen more than but one episode) rather because I LOOOOOOOVE Batman.

Also Dark City.

Cosplay is easy to pull off, you just don't have to look ugly or wear a dress.

If you do, I think there should be little pods that float around in conventions that eliminate you on sight or giant floating bubbles that consume you.

Do you mean a plane ticket to the US, or do you just want me to pay your admission to the con?  If you're going to be in the States, I'd go to an anime convention with you, Nurdy.

Wasn't Katsucon in February, though?
