w00t!  Power to the Zapp Lovers!!!!!!!  TOTPD!!!

But since we're on the topic of Cubert-- Cubert is a smartass who only thinks analytically and doesn't like to believe he's wrong.  However, some of his quotes are freakin' hilarious.  "Let me introduce you to a friend.  His name is Depth Perception!"  That line, though I know it takes a swing at Leela, is still funny.  Not to mention... remember his lunchbox in TROAE?  You know, the one Brett held up?  It wasn't the Periodic Table lunchbox, either...   wink  That was what got me to at least TOLERATE Cubert.

The only reason you liked him was because he had a Zapp Brannigan lunchbox and you know it!!!  love

But that's the reason he kicks ass! He's a little smartass elitist who doesn't know the meaning of "take one for the team". He's always right and to him everyone else's opinions are wrong.

At times like that, I think he's my clone.

I think they both suck, but Cubert sucks more. His name should be changed to "Sucky McSuck-Suck!"

I did find him somewhat annoying when I first saw him. When I first joined the fan community, that's when I realized I was supposed to hate him with passion.

Welcome to PEEL, ShortRoundMcfly!

About Cubert, he's one of my favorite characters! He's supposed to point out the logical flaws in the show. He's also supposed to take jabs at the other characters' and their ignorance. He's not supposed to be a likable character. That's the funny part!

Thanks for the welcome, Nibblonian.

I do agree that he's supposed to have those traits, but that doesn't mean your nesscicarily supposed to like them.

Well...I don`t like him so much, but don`t hate him too, so he`s a neitral character to me.

I like him. Kath Soucie's scream in A Clone Of My Own when Bender shocks Cubert is a classic

"As you probably already don't know odors are made up of particles that can't travel through the vacuum of space...Ahhhhhhh!!!!!"

I just saw his intro episode again, and he isn't as annoying as I thought. I think after hearing negative things fo so long, the annoyingness was exaggerrated and projected unto my memory giving me a biased perception of him.

He was sorta annoying, but not enough to ruin the show, or even the episode IMHO.

Hey, as long as he puts that logic into work and not insults, that's fine.
(Don't worry, Cubert. You wait until you're grown up and they're working for you. Then you insult them)
Now, who wants to take care of this problem before it starts?

Oh, and the lottery number for the mass lottery for Jul 2004 is... 4678. Good bye primitive peoples, I must return to my proper time, 2006, and play the PS7! Yes, we do have that by now, along with space travel, infact, all of futurama has come true. The world religion is Mattism, where we worship the prophit, Matt! We belive in the second coming of futurama, then the true belivers will be lifted to heaven, where we will watch new episodes for all eternity, while the unbelivers will decend to hell... Where they will watch RERUNS! FOR ALL ETERNITY!
