No. 9 man?

I probably sound like a dumb f*ck for saying this, but who is the No. 9 man? Of all the times I've watched the episodes many times and I have failed to see him or looked at him and didn't notice that he was the No. 9 man.  Can someone tell me who he is?

the Number 9 guy is in the background of many group shots.  You know who he is because he has like a big t-shirt that has the number 9 real big on it.  I can't think of any episodes off the top of my head, but he's in quite a few, check mostly like first season.

We do have info on him though.  Apparently it was one of the original ideas that didn't really get implemented: ie the idea that people are numbered or something of that sort.  There's also an old thread explaining everything I just said, but I'm way too lazy to look it up for anybody.  Enjoy!

They were discussed in the Commentary to "How Hermes Requsitioned his groove back." and there were supposed to be classes of people and the lower class people slaves to the higher classes and the classes are signified by the number.
