Wow... SpaceCase, you've got a good deal of nerve. First you tell me that something is quite probably physically impossible, therefore my idea is most likely false. (Being able to reach Universe α with a spaceship. Photons can cross the barrier, now can't they?) Then, you tell me that there's a continuity error that violates the theory that you just said was possibly physically impossible, but it's 'Futurama', so that's Ok. Then you take one of my little warpings of definitions, and say that's also impossible! Since when has Farnsworth let definitions keep him down? I think you're gonna have a lot of heavy resentment from those people down at 'Bed, Bath, Infinity and Beyond'. (You're lucky I don't have time to get really technical here... )

[Bender] Bring it on baby![/Bender] I kid, I kid. I'm w-a-a-a-a-y too pedantic already, with no help from you! I only need one thing to make a fool of myself: An opportunity!

Did anyone else notice that in "Raging Bender", before the big fight, an announcer says "Ladies and Gentlemen, and Smizmars..." which seems to be a joke that in the future another gender will be forged. But the term 'Smizmar' is used again in "Kif Gets Knocked Up a Notch" and this time it means the person that inspired the feeling of love in Kif's species. Do you think the announcer was addressing them in the stadium? Or did the writers just get lazy and re-use the same name?

- That in the second picture Amy is standing next to Zoidberg.
- In the second, Fry is centered in the frame.
- In the first, Fry is off to the left.
- In the first, we cannot see who, if anyone, is standing next to Zoidberg because the "binocular silhouette" blocks-out that part of the picture.
Bottom line: I don't think it's a bloop.

Crud. So he's a geek. And I suppose I'm a greet? Greet, greet, greet! Originally posted by ivan_fry: They mention this in the commentary for "Kif Gets Knocked Up A Notch". I'm pretty sure they said in Raging Bender they didn't actually know what a Smizmar was. I would say they used it as the person who inspired the love just to tie up loose ends so that word had a meaning. Yes, you see, by 2374, human families usually had three parents: The Male, the one the Male loves, and the Mother of the Male's Children. Luckly, these problems were taken care of with the uprising of Space Catholicism in 2376. Falling into disuse in all but the most formal of occasions and cheesy rehashing movies, the term was then stolen by many species not from Earth.

Thanks for the explanation Xanfor.
Not sure if this is a goof... But did anyone else notice in "Mothers Day" right before the scene where it shows the PE crew huddled around the fire, (Fry is tryign to break open the can of leak) in the background of the opening shot of the PE building, across the ocean, it looks like some sort of explosion or fire on the shadow of the PE building reflected on the sea... It could just be expressing the mayhem going on because of the robot rebellion, but it still looks really odd... One more thing I found that I thought was cool, in "My Three Suns" when bender is shopping at the market, before he buys the slugs, he walks by a bunch of hanging meats. One of the dangling meats is in the shape of the PE ship.

One goof that I noticed/figured out is that, on the series 3 box set, there is alien text at the beginning of the DVD, after the notes on the other languages and it one of the sentences translates to "Violaters must immediately take the disc or videotape onto which you intended to copy this program and break it over you knee" Not hugely noticeable but a stupid spelling/ error(it should really be your), in alien ^-^.
