Amy speaks (mandarin)Chinese, the most common. Cantonese is another type.

So, what did she say?

She speaks Chinese in 'Amazon Women In The Mood' and 'The Deep South'.  That's all I know.

In the series has landed, she  screamed something out like this:
á,zhèn nǐ hǎo dǎ sì nǐ!
Ah, Push you hard to break you!

It's always the way with online translators. It's probably meant to translate more into "Ah, I'll push you so hard you'll break"

Amy speaks Cantonese in these following episodes:

Episode Two: The Series Has Landed
The Deep South
Amazon Women in The Mood.

If anyone else can think of any other episodes, post them here.

I was always under the impression that Amy spoke neither Cantonese nor Mandarin, but in fact spoke Martian.

Whatever dialect she speaks, she speaks it in the following episodes:
"The Series has Landed"
"A Fishful of Dollars"
"Put Your Head on My Shoulders"
"The Deep South"
"The Cryonic Woman"
"Amazon Women in the Mood"
"Future Stock"

There might be a few more, but I think that's all of them.

Hmmm, when I was watching "Insane in the Mainframe" last night when the crew expresses their dismay at being tied up by Roberto, Amy sounds like she says "scheiße" which isn't Chinese at all. They may have thrown in some curve balls just to have some fun.

I have no idea why, but I had the impression that she was and spoke Korean. But it's Mandarin? Finally, hearing from someone who knows how to speak the language who can give the definitive word. Sheishei! (bad attempt to spell what I think is 'thank you' in Mandarin)

All I know is that what she is speaking is real Chinese.  What ever that actress name is, she can actually speak the language properly, so all we need now is that translation.

I'm told what Amy actually says is approximately, "... Butchi gui ata nae."
But I'm far from fluent in Chinese Martian.   ;)

I'm told (though I don't remember from where anymore) the last part translates as "... I'll beat you to death."   :hmpf:

Wasn't this mentioned in the AWitM commentary?

Somewhere it said that she actually speaks a collective form of most dialects, like (to make bold strokes) Chinese, Japanese and other similar Asian languages, all in one.

So, trying to find exactly what she says is going to take a little more than an online translator or two.

None-the-less, if anyone can figure out what the heck she is saying, I'd love to know!

In 'Put your head on my shoulders' she is singing some little song in Chinese or Cantonese while she has her fingers in her ears to give Fry privacy. I always wondered what she was actually singing, it sounded cute.

Yes, but mandarin (chinese) sentences are constrcted differently to english, thats why you cant do an exact translation. They speak kind of like yoda (lol, yes yoda) in the way they construct sentences, it sounds wierd but its normal for them.
