Ok with the X’mas hat I prefer FF1's design where she choose not to let the hair run through the high hair. But with the general design of the hat, the material of the clothing and the colour I think I like GFF’s design better. So can one of you fix that, and then what do I do to make that my avator until X'mas is over? By that time I should have the avatar I give to GFF earlier on rite?

ok, I tried to merge it    :)

EDIT: or more like this?

hmm... Since you only can have one Custom avatar, I will replace the dancing avatar you wanted with this one, in the file to be uploaded.

I realy hope that Slimmy will upload the avys before xmas comes.. hopefully next week.

But after xmas we have to add the dancing avatar again to the wishlist, mint. (I'll try to remind myself then)    :)

@Bender2.0 : Something like this?

@Preety in pink: I am reather confused... what exactly do you want? I have taken GPT's idea, changed the color to FF1's version and left the rings around her arms.

GFF thanks very much for the dual design I prefer the first one. Oh don't you worry when X’mas is over I will remind you to put my dancing avatar on the list again. I just hope my X’mas avatar will be shown before X’mas.

He won't return. At least not for a longer time I guess. Perhaps not with his old screenname.
He just asked me per mail to remove him from the brithday lists.

I am wondering how come some people get their avatar changed so quickly, is it because they been here longer?

What do you mean, mint?

Yes, there are some other ways to get it uploaded faster, but it is not realy because they have been here longer, more because they are good chat friends of SlimmyCGEF and bug him on the chatroom or per mail to upload it.

Also some Peelers change their avatar so quickly because they simply choose another one from the pool, like Dr.Jerkbird does.

@GFF: Its ok Mercapto directed the answers to me, so you can have a few avatars to choose from huh? Once they are uploaded you don't need to wait for several weeks? You can just change from your profile?

@Dr Jerk Berg: Really you are leaving, for good? Well in that case Merry X’mas and Happy New Year …so long! Farewell!

You yourself can only have one custom avatar.
It gets overwritten with every new one you wish to be uploaded to custom.

Or you can take one out of the pool (It's where you got your original avatar from). There are over 1200 avatars everyone can choose which one he or she likes.

Dr.Jerkbird... you're going? Why?

Or just an edited version of your current one?

Also I fear that you're a little late to get it uploaded before Xmas...  :(

I made these for the pool, pretty crappy, but if GFF would like to touch them up, they me become acceptable.

These are looking good GPT!

One question, though... are these cut-outs or scans? (Not that I complain about cut-outs, I've started that way too  ;) )

If they are, try to trace over the lines with a small black brush or even bezier lines. Maling them a bit better to see (on the Bender one for example).

Also expreiment a bit with your transparency colors and the edges to make them smoother.

The rest of these avys looks good!

Sadly I hardly can touch the edges up, because they are already resized down to 64x64.

goodbye Dr. Jerkbird just remember that i didn't steal your name

is this a decent tuch up or is it to fat
because to me it seams pretty bulky

can anyone give me the inscturtions about how to make a proper one and also how to make it transparent

@jerkberg: Hmm... It looks very aliased around the outside, which leads me to believe you only scanned the outside.

Framegrab Avys = Spawn of Satan.

You should always make the avatar out of a scan. Search around GCEF- they have a really good scanning tutorial.

First off, to make it transparent, which program do you use?

Bezier curves is the tool to use for scanning. NEVER use MS Paint, for it is also evil.

Transparency in PSP6.

Also, Layers, because you'll need to use them.
