Because it was a weak story with a cop-out ending. The idea of Kif becoming pregnant I liked but the writers were really treading water with it.

I'm giving my vote to "Bendin' in the Wind" or "That's Lobstertainment!"  I've never found either of them to be all that bad, and in the case of BitW, I think it's pretty good.

I like "Leela's Homeworld" quite a lot, if only for the character development. I must agree with boingo that I do like those two episodes as well.

"Bendless Love" is an ep which I enjoy. I liked the more character based plot of this episode and I thought the Bender/Flexo idea worked better here than in The Lesser Of Two Evils (which I also love but wasn't quite convinced by the confusion in that one). Not many other people are fans though.  :(

To be honest, I pretty much love all of Eric Horsted's episodes, so "Bendin' In The Wind" can go on my list too.

Bendin' in the Wind

Where No Fan Has Gone Before

Futurestock

Mother's Day

I know they're not all excessively hated, but they never feature in people's Top... lists.  All underrated IMHO.

Also, I know Spanish Fry isn't particularly subtle or anything, but Maurice LaMarche and John DiMaggio's "Bowwwwwm"s, particularly when followed by Rich Moore going "uh-oh..." more than make up for it!

If we're talking about underrated commentators... Rich Moore is the king.  He's great.

Well, I think we've pretty much covered every episode that people have hated between us in the course of 15 minutes.  :laff:

Except Bend Her, but I hate that one so I refuse to say otherwise.

I really liked "Bend Her" actually. It was funnier than I thought. My favorite part was when Bender was taking Fry to choose an outfit. Bender was skipping like a girl and Fry looks at the crew like "Help Me". It was a very funny episode.

Futurestock is definatley underated.

Now see, if it were a live-action show that had two incredibly old people having sex - that would be life-scarring. I think you gotta appreciate that it's a cartoon. I see your point though.

It doesn't help that the Fry and Leela stuck in the La Brea tar pits subplot feels shoved in for lack of a better idea.

Exactly. And you'll notice that the subplot doesn't intertwine with the main story in any particularly relevant way so structurally it is one of the weaker episodes.

Hmm, I didn't think Time Keeps on Slippin' was hated, but if so that is a GREAT episode!

Spanish Fry, if you take out Bender's stupid whoooooooo sounds was a great episode. See spacepilot3000's quote above   :laff:

300 Big Boys ditto. Fry's coffee sub-plot was fantastic, and there were enough gags thrown in for good measure. Sure it's not as great as the rest of S4, but it's not horrible either like say Pharoah, which I watched once and refuse to watch ever again.

"My coffee is shaking, I don't want my coffee shaken. I couldn't sleep last night. Of course it wasn't coffee it was insomnia. I couldn't stop thinking about coffee. I need a nap. zzzzzz Coffee time!"  :laff:

Cryonic Woman I don't like, but I do stick up for because I don't see why people hate it so much. Michelle's voice is annoying, and the LA scene was fairly out there, but overall it was average and not horrible, such as Pharoah.

Ignoring Bender's puerility, I still think Spanish Fry was very much a thrown together episode with little coherence. There were some good jokes in there though, but as a whole it just doesn't match up.

I love it - it's one of my favourites in 4ACV.

FRY: This isn't Yemeni: it's Sulawesi! And why's my cup shaking? I don't want my coffee shaking.
BENDER: You seem kind of wound up, buddy. And your face is greasy - real greasy. Have you been up all night?
FRY: Of course I've been up all night! Not because of caffeine, it was insomnia. I couldn't stop thinking about coffee! I need a nap... COFFEE TIME!!

Just so good - the speed its delivered at makes it hilarious.   :laff:

That's a problem with every episode!    :p

Most of Lobstertainment I found quite boring except for the Fox searchlights and all the people running around doing stupid things in the background of a serious scene was funny.

I think the problem with Bend Her is it does freak you out a little if watched too much, I found that out after the second time...

Also I like 300 Big Boys more than most it seems. Fry's coffee binge is just too funny, especially the slow motion scene at the end, and also right before then where he pours his coffee really fast and shakes loads. I think without Fry's story it wouldn't have been anywhere near as good.

I agree.  Amy needs more screen time.

Amy should be in every episode.

When Amy isn't around, All of the other characters should be asking, "Where's Amy?"

Also, Amy should have her own theme music that plays whenever she enters a room.
