I cant see a reason not to, although compared to the number of people who tune into channel 7, we dont ammount to many.

i just hope it may make a difference if enough of us voice our opinions... <quote>although compared to the number of people who tune into channel 7, we dont ammount to many."</quote>
All too true though. How bout an 11:00 or 11:30 timeslot to at least get us up to date!

yeah i feel a bit awkward sending the email. ill think of what to say in a day or two. i may get some of my friends names on it too and send it on behalf of all Aussie Futurama Fans.

I think I'll write a letter to the Green Guide tomorrow... remind other Melbournions about the show, as everyones forgotted. now all my friends love Futurama and have bought the DVD because i re-introduced them to the show, which they had not seen for a years. People want to see it. People like it. But they have forgotten about it

Grim If you cant be botherd, then i will find out the address tomorrow. And alex, i reckon itd be a bad idea to direct them to this site. They probably wouldnt even bother to check it out. They wouldnt have time to search through 17 pages of a thread, regarding a show they dont think enough of to air regularly, Or perhaps even not at all.

There's still enterprise, but now there's nothing to watch before enterprise...

Maybe I could put the DVDs on and pretend that its airing... nah Im not that easily fooled.

Ah well will have Season3 DVD Import in June, so I dont need channel 7 (Not that I havent seen every played episode to date, still I dont need them Futurama was the only program i religiously watch on them anyway)

finally what you've been waiting for...
Green Guide Letter - 1st Draft

Channel 7! Have you lost your mind? Where is Futurama!? You are treating it the same way as FOX are in the United States,  putting it on at dodgy hours and without any advertising. When the first season came out on DVD it was sold out all over Melbourne.  There are many Futurama fans all over Melbourne, and there would be more if it was given a decent time and some advertising. It is twice the show The Simpsons is, with better plots and characters, and the stories are much more intellectual and are not the constant jokes to the point where it isn't funny that The Simpsons has become.. Channel 7, there are a few episodes remaining of season 3 you have yet to show, all the season 4 episodes and season 5 is currently being shown in the United States. You have not had even a first re-run of season 1 or 2. Please put Futurama back on air. People want to see it, more people than you think. There are many Futurama fans out there, but they have forgotten about the show after the three year absence from a decent timeslot.
From a faithful Futurama fan, Alex.

Well the next 2 weeks are non rating weeks so maybe C7 will throw us a bone and screen 2 episodes seeing as how they love showing Futurama during non rating periods.

What the hell is the jury? REmember the good ole days, when seven had it as part of the comedy night, you could watch all of sevens best shows in 3 hours  :p WHy didnt they show it tonight instead of that Absolutley shitty price of fame atrocity. Im ashamed t admit i wached it, but it was really because i was stupified that a show like this is even allowed by the geneva convention. Would a show like that really pull better ratings than futurama? I had a letter to the Seven people all planned out in my head, but my sister wouldnt get off the computer. If only theyd put it on at 4 in the morning even, then i could tape it.
Anyway grim, im calling up 7 tomorrow and getting an address to send complaints to, And guess what? I saw some futurama merchandise at Comics ETC today   :D

8:30 - The Jury
9:30 - Boomtown
10:30 - Futurama
11:00 - King Of The Hill

Great, i wonder why they took it off in the first place?ANd grim i wouldnt bother checking out the futurama merchandise, its just a bendy glow in the dark Kiff, and some cardboard pictures.

In other news, is the return actually listed in the guide? Or coult they just be trying to placate us?
