Most of the original run is a lot better than the Comedy Central era in my opinion. Then again, I watched all the episodes for the first time in their broadcast order

The second segment in The Futurama Holiday Spectacular is definitely the most watchable part of that episode. Too bad the other two were really awful though. Those talking bees still give me the shivers after all these years.

I concur about "Holiday Craptacular". The second segment isn't too bad at all. It's not great, but it's passable. If the whole episode had been to that standard, I don't think it would come close to being considered "the" worst episode of the show by so many people.

However it still wasn't good.

Wasn't good?  Wasn't good?  The destruction of Alderan wasn't good.  Shooting Old Yeller wasn't good.  Rebecca Black's "Friday" wasn't good.

The Futurama Holiday Spectacular is horrendous, with maybe one or two marginally non-bad moments.

Yeah, for sure. As much as I don't like AOTKA, I can at least think of a handful of funny gags.

The best I can come up with for TFHS is that it made me exhale slightly more air than usual a few timers.

It's hard to argue that Susan Boil isn't one of the worst things Futurama has ever created because, well, it is. It's incredibly unfunny, disturbing, breaks continuity and will lose all meaning in years to come. However, I've never really disliked "Attack of the Killer App" as it has a pretty cohesive story, some good gags and nice uses of future technology.

"The Futurama Holiday Spectacular" is incredibly dull, the stories feel thrown together with no rhyme or reason, has very few jokes and ruins the Space Bees from the previous episode in which they appeared. It's not very good at all.
