Hi everyone. I'm new here, and I've been a huge Futurama Fan for the past few years. My favorite episode is the prestigious "The Late Philip J Fry". I don't have any skills that I can utilize to express my fan-liness (Instead of manliness) for Futurama. However, I hope I have some latent talents for that extensive purpose.

Anecdote tangentially related to Futurama: I tweeted at Eric Rogers today, and he tweeted back at me. The whole thing kind of made me feel like Danny--which is to say, it was weird. But also kind of neat, I suppose, in a dorky way.

The communication itself was as follows: I would not want to speak ill of Mr. Rogers, seeing as how he called me his friend (the girl in this body with this Twitter handle has a friend!)--so I guess, in answer to your question, I misspoke. Our brief online interaction was overtly about Futurama; however, it was not the content of our 140-character-or-less conversation that I found noteworthy--but merely the fact that we conversed at all.

I wish they sold futurama dvd's in my country:( My opinion on most eps in season 7 change all the time as well, at first I just hated 31st century fox... Now it ain't that bad, the opposite with naturama. You just spot more details and have more focus on the story after a few more viewings i guess

Woo, first post of 2013 in this thread! Anyway, I've just realised something. Without even noticing it, I've been tying episodes from 7A to episodes from 6B based on what I thought of them. Example: "Viva Mars Vegas" being the "Cold Warriors" of the season: an episode I loved immensely from the first viewing, but seem to be alone in that opinion. "Fun on a Bun" being the "Reincarnation" of the season: the episode that I found to be the best, despite enjoying others more. "Near-Death Wish" being the "Tip of the Zoidberg" of the season: an episode that I liked originally, but it seems to get worse on each viewing. "Zapp Dingbat" being the "Law and Oracle" of the season: an episode that I liked quite a lot in spite of a few shortcomings. "31st Century Fox" being the "Mobius Dick" of the season: a solid episodes that house only a few minor nitpicks. "The Six Million Dollar Mon" being the "Overclockwise" of the season: an episode that is almost perfect until the end, where it loses some greatness. "The Bots and the Bees" being the "Silence of the Clamps" of the season: an episode that I liked, but didn't love. "The Butterjunk Effect" being the "All the Presidents' heads" of the season: an episode that was just all-round average. "Decision 3012" being the "Benderama" of the season: an episode that I liked, but always forget about. "A Farewell to Arms" being the "Ghost in the Machines" of the season: an episode that had a great premise and was turned into a disappointment thanks to a crappy ending. Nothing in 7A was as bad as "Yo Leela Leela" or "Neutopia" for me, so they can stay out. And the remaining episodes are ones that I can't really tie to another for some reason. Does anyone else do this, or am I weird?

Over break I got to watch all of the new episodes, but I didn't liken them to the previous season's story lines. Viva Mars Vegas was definitely my favorite of the season and I second your feeling of immediately liking it as I also did Cold Warriors. Also over break my aunt deposited a DVD of some horrible children's show called "BoohBah" at my house, which my daughter discovered in the top of the trash and retrieved. She loaded it into the DVD player and immediately became sucked in, further cementing my own appreciation of Yo Leela Leela.
As to episodes that seem to get better with repeat viewings, I really found that The Six Million Dollar Mon escalated in esteem after watching it a couple of times, especially after listening to the commentary as well. The commentary also made me feel better about Calculon's temporary demise.

I actually found 'Neutopia' a pretty good episode, it was kinda weird and that's just what I like:3 But on the onther point I agre with URL. The only thing is that I found cold warriors WAY better than Viva Mars Vegas, tough I liked Zoidberg's singing xD "A big lobster, take a little bath with meee" (not sure if I typed that right) Also, I made a little video of Fry and Leela(I was bored) Check it out maybe?:3 I found there were too less of those with season 7 included... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCChgufcd84

... After watching that, I've scheduled a stop for a memory enema. Taylor Swift has to be one of the worst choices for a Fry/Leela music video. Especially her early songs which were about young, naive love sugared with bubblegum-pop and rolled into a country-Southwestern Egg Roll. Is there a site where you can set up personal timers? It's almost pointless visiting PEEL daily during the "dead" periods. I'd rather receive a reminder on the 1st of February notifying me to check whether or not Futurama's dead.

Hmm, you got a point there... I'm not a really big fan of Taylor Swift as well but I tought the song was pretty sweet:3 I guess you just have to visit often to see if it's dead or the other thing...

huh? Well that's pretty awkward, how come we are one season ahead of the UK but the UK does sell Futurama stuff and we don't? I mean, if there are less fans here you'd expect to have much less futurama here and that we should be way behind...
