What was your favorite running joke on Futurama? Mine was something going wrong whenever Lrrr introduces himself and the Waterfalls being killed.

 first thing that came to mind was Kiff's *sigh* at pratically anything Zapp says, it kept on throughout all seasons, and never stopped being funny so that's gotta be my pick.

Way too mant to pick a favorite.  One of the show's greatest strengths was its running jokes, and one of its greatest weaknesses was its reliance on them.

Hmm... I thought this had been done before. I know this has been done before, but the search turns up nothing.

My favourite running joke is Leela's giant boots. They never used it as often as say... "Bite my Shiny Metal Ass", or "Good News, Everyone!", but maybe that's what made it so great.

"You up there, with the eyelashes and the big boots!"

"Lay it on us, big boots."

"Come on Leela, step your big boot down on the gas pedal!"

Also, congrats on Starship Captain, Mango!

Zapp's self-centered attempts at womanizing, for sure. Every episode (when they were new) caught me waiting for the next dumb thing he was going to say.

Definetly just the classic humour of being presented with the plausible option & having the character (usually bender) doing something else.

Like Bender giving out toys as Santa Claus & dumping them down the sewer instead of the "Toys for Tots" bin.

Or Leela being the tabogin in the peguin episode
