Is it too early for...... The PEELIES!?

I know it is early december, and I know that I can't remember what time of the year we hold this anyways, but it is nearing the end of the year.  Anyways I figured we might try and get a jumpstart on this year, I recall it being months later last year; we could just start assembling a committee and things of that nature, also if I'm wrong and junk, well yeah.... anyways, yeah.... so ummm.... yeah there you go

I also think Teral should be my successor.

And winna, it's much too LATE for PEELies, I think we were well over halfway done this time last year and had already presented two years ago.

It's funny, I thought "Gee, the PEELies should be coming up soon" like last time I visited PEEL.

If I remember correctly, the 2002's started in like October.  2003 started early too, yet for some reason, didn't conclude until like February.   Oh well, let's get goin'.

I'd help! I don't exactly know how it works (a committee of sorts picks the nominees, then lets everyone else vote, if I'm not mistaken...) but, yes.

I think we should assemble as much from the old committee as possible, and then give out the jobs to anyone else who really wants it and has some of a clue of what's going on.  I really don't wanna be a part of the committee since I'd just be lazy and prolly blow it off, but I am glad I made this thread (I figured I'd be heckled to death ) and if anyone needs my help you know how to contact me

I think there are actually rules as to who can be on the committee, don't ask me what they are, ask someone like Tweek or VF or Nix.... 

Also if we're going to get this thing rolling, I think something that may be helpful would be a committee chatroom, if people are actually willing to use such a chatroom.  We could put it on the same server as #futuramachat; I'd be willing to set up such a chatroom, it isn't that hard.  Anyways, discuss amongst yourselves...

There should be a nomination thread/poll to determine who's in the committee. That way you fat cats can't keep the blacks and jews off the committee like you did last year! I would have been great.

The problem with that is how long it would take to do. Presumably we want to get the PEELies over before the end of the year. Polls take long enough as it is to be decided, an extra poll to determine who goes on the committee takes even longer.

It would get things done though, and I think we can easily take into account that we want to be done by January... Maybe a week for nominating, and a week for the poll for the committee members.  Old committee members that wanna be on again automatically get on, and they can start discussing what kind of different categories there will be.
