I'm running on a platform of continuing to produce insane statements such as "Wank on my vikings!" And producing half-baked designs for systems such as my mayonaise/cheese-wizz/egg-nog thrower.

More rules = more confusion. Also I know of very few people who made such an impression in just 4 weeks as to get nominated. It took me about 3 months to get my first nomination.

I believe you should all nominate me, and I have a strong argument showing my case. My first reason that I believe will convince you to nominate me is my involvement in the ‘6:20 AM’ thread. Although you may not have seen all this drama take place, it was certainly a freaky moment for us that were there. And it seems I was the key player in it. The number of posts made was replaced by my name which meant I was the first person ever to become a new number, and it was when I posted that the old thread got replaced by this ‘6:20 AM’ thread, which was in fact blank. But that wasn’t all the strangeness that happened in it, the topic starter was not a person, but rather a date. The last post part however was normal, so the number of posts just disappeared somewhere into the deep, dark depths of cyberspace. Look at my signature for visual proof of this amazing incident, which occurred earlier this month, and which I and fellow PEELers will not forget for some time. It may strike again some time, but we don’t know when. Nobody (apart from perhaps Gocad) knows how it happened.

My second point is one rather evil one. At the moment and for the past 5 days I have been rather sick with a cross between the flu, some fever and a strange African snake poisoning. It can only be identified as the Crazy Koala Virus, as I live in Australia. I must have got it from either eating an infected Koala, or having sex with an infected Koala. Five hundred people were away from my school on one day because of this virus. It is insane down here. And if you don’t nominate me, I will send it to you and as you are not from Victoria, Australia, you are likely to die a horrible death because of it. You brain slowly shrinks and shrinks until it is small enough to fit out your nose. Then the next time you sneeze, out it goes. Very nasty. Some of the other Australians on the board claim they have it, but they actually don’t, I’m the only one with it for real. And I have postage stamps, so I will send it. This virus made my temperature 39.1ºC, the highest for me on record. The highest it has been that I can remember prior to this instance is about 38.0ºC. This Crazy Koala Virus is deadly.

My third point is linked to my second in a way. You should nominate me for Poster Of The Month because you feel sorry for me being sick and holed up in my house for the past five days, having to sit through the crappy shows on day time television. Jerry Springer is funny, yes, but everything else just makes me even more sick. Soon my Crazy Koala Virus will mutate into something much worse because of this poor quality programming. Even more reason to nominate me, because remember that if you don’t I’m sending it to you. That is right, you!

My fourth point is the fact I have a girlfriend, which is something I will bring up every month until I win the prestigious Poster Of The Month award here at PEEL, making all you people without a girlfriend extremely jealous and angry. So for your sake, and for your health as you may get so angry you start hitting your head against the wall, nominate me for Poster Of The Month. I know how hard it is for you people to get girlfriends, and even if you have one, do everyone else a favour by nominating me. Help yourself. Help the community.

My fifth point is that I am Australian. This may be seen by most of you as a bad point, but I’m not like those other spamadelic Aussies, I make very worthwhile posts and at the moment am one of the people holding PEEL together for about five hours a day, with only a handful of other posts being posted during that time as no Americans are online. Without me I believe this bored may shrivel up. What better way to make me stay then to make me Poster Of The Month. This will encourage me to stay, and make me feel loved by the Planet Express Employee Lounge community, even if I’m not really. It is all about what I think, what I do not know will not hurt me. So have a heart, or at least pretend to have a heart, and nominate me.

Another point is that the campaign thread got spammed a bit by fellow Australians telling you all to vote for me. I did not tell them to do this, and am not paying them in any way, nor do I encourage their behaviour, but they will keep doing this until I win. They simply love me too much to stop, it posses them. So save yourself, the other people on the board and PEEL itself by helping me to win Poster Of The Month.

Lastly I’d like to just say what a great bloke I really am. I am great to talk to and never mean to anyone. I may not have any real friends, but to me you guys are my friends. At least let me think that I am you friend as well, by nominating me for Poster Of The Month.

Also do not stop at nominating me for Poster Of The Month, vote for me as well, as these arguments require both sides of it to work out. Thanks for reading this long and tedious, exactly one thousand word essay which took me about half an hour of my life to write, and I hope you keep all this in mind when the time comes to make your nominations and to vote for the winner.
