Yeah... I remember when they hosted episodes. The used to have a form that let you comment on news items, and every comment was "Where are the episodes" and "Why don't you have the episodes" and "Gimme the damn episodes!"

And ditch the episode downloads. that was just a pain in the arse with all the support questions and generally unthankfull visitors. It will be for the better of CGEF, even if the raw hit count will go down over this.

Yes I want CGEF back.  It was the first Futurama site in this huge Futurama webring that I saw.  The more I went to it I realized that I too wanted to be a FUTURAMA WEBMASTER!  I think that bringing back CGEF would put a little jazz into the community, a little whip cream on the cheerios if you will.  I personally love being a webmaster.  Even though my webmaster skills are not complete, and any of my Boss webmaster people can tell you that I procrastinate a lot ;P.  Its not about that though, its about the heart you have, the extra effort you put into your work!  I'd personally like to thank CGEF and their webmasters for starting that spark inside of me which has lit into a Huge Jungle Eating Inferno Capable of Destroying the Earth as if a Thousand Stars struck it at Once Destroying the Universe in a Split Second of Total Uproaringly Beer Splitting Chaos!  In other words Yes I want CGEF back.

Oh and by the way, I have the solution to our video problem!
Yes the Solution is LIMEWIRE!  If everyone downloaded LIMEWIRE then everyone could share Futurama episodes on LIMEWIRE.  Cause LIMEWIRE is the BEST, plain and simple.

Well I voted yes, it was the first Futurama site I visited and how I found PEEL. I remember it as a great site with plenty of cool content so I hope it returns 
I'm not fussed one way or the other about downloads, with a 56k modem life is too short to spend downloading huge files.

I voted no. Sorry it was a good site, but I don't see the point of it returning. Especially with Jason, Reed and Josh gone. If you wanted to make a general futurama site, I'd make a new one with a new title, rather than just falling back on your old site's popularity. Other sites aren't going to get a look in now.

Ummm .. is there a reason not to do it like the very popular thing he did before ?
People do not care who brings them the content, they want the content and nice to read news.
People sure want "their CGEF" back and if he manages to have only 60% of the old content restored, that would be great IMHO.
The net lacks the big general pages and I hope to see them both back for competition reasons.

slimmy, Reed (maybe), Paul (for scans or something), me (maybe, I dunno what I could do though, I could do profiles and shit but not be a full time webmaster, just submiter), and who knows who else... Maybe lee would want in again.  5 was just a rough number I made up.

I'd like it back because I enjoyed reading up on Futurama and all the news and such.
For me, I really did like the episode download but by the sounds of things, even though you're asking if you want the site back with videos, you don't want to put them up because of the troubles you get. So no matter what I say, or vote, it's unlikely that you guys will put up vidoes.
I was thinking you could have a registered user section that only they could download episdoes.. if that would work with some rules or something.. *shrugs* i don't know.
If you did bring up a new Futurama page, it would be in the middle of high competition and you guys are probably guarenteed a decent amount of the proportion of fans by the guide of past history with CGEF and this forum board alone. So Good luck!
