Hello everyone.
Maybe some people noticed that I haven't updated TFP since the past week. The principal reason is because the FTP of the site don't let me upload any file  :hmpf:. That's why I've opened a temporal website of TFP here:

www.tfpoint.cjb.net

This site features only the last updates of the site, but since I can't upload a "notice" at tfp.killbots.com saying this, I'm letting you know here. If any Futurama webmaster read this, if you can change the URL of TFP to the temporal one, that would be great.

To slurmsoda@hotmail.com:

Your site tfp.killbots.com has exceeded its
bandwidth quota in the period beginning on 2003-10-01.
Your quota is set to 10485760000 bytes, and
your site has consumed 984608400 bytes beyond that quota.

Now maybe I know why I can't update TFP, but does "bandwidth quota" has anything to be with "disk quota"??

Bandwidth is what's used when data is sent out to people. Each time someone visits your site all the pictures and text (and videos, zips etc) are sent to them, this uses your bandwidth.

Say you have 10,000 bytes of bandwidth. Each visit to your site may take 100 bytes of bandwidth. After 100 people have been to your site you've reached your 10,000 bytes of bandwidth. Often webhosts then stop anything been set out by your site, effectively taking the site offline for the rest of that month.

I'd noticed the lack of updates, thanks for letting us know what's going on   :)

Glad to hear that.

Can you tell me what happened to the owner of the root site, Much Ado About Futurama?

I have no idea, I tried to contact him when I had no bandwidth quota but there was no answer. I also tried to contact his brother... same luck.

Once again, TFP exeeded the bandwidth quota (because I can't upload anything once again). If you want to see new content until the end of this month (I think!!), go to the temporal host: www.tfpoint.cjb.net

sorry about the double post....
