I know I already have a thread but the title isn't all that attention attracting.

So I just added Spanish Fry and added the rest of season 4 yesterday. Feel free to shower me with praise, say "you spelt that wrong" or generally worship me for adding it so quickly.

While this thread is here, I'd like to thank you for your excellent site.  It's a place I can go when I'm supposed to be working.

I feel so bad for saying this...forgive me    :)

Two very minor corrections:

Bender: Yep. Stolen Pez anyone?

[He holds up a Calculon-head Pez and hands them around.

Because of the pointlessness of it.

Could someone give me a hand with a couple of things from the episode? First, what song was it that was on Bender's CD. Second, when the robots are wrecking technology in NNY is the music in that scene any particular piece of music or was it something written just for the episode? Third, was the last scene of Bender walking down the road from a film or something?

I don't know the first one, the second one I know I heard somewhere, kinda reminded me of the Matrix, and the third I think is just original.

Did you read that bit?

Geocities is crap, when a site gets too popular it normally goes over it's bandwidth limit and gets pulled offline.

Like aslate said, free Geoshitties pages have a limit to the amount of people that can visit a page in a day. When it goes over 3 the page goes wonky.

2Smitty:

Dave, I visit your wonderful site very often and first of all want to thank you for excellent job.

(btw, did FOX ever contact you about their copyrights and stuff? Hope you know which finger to show them if they ever will  :))

Now a question - I was sort of collecting the scripts of Futurama eps for a couple of years - and now there are only like four out of 72 missing.
Recently I started uploading them to my site, so thatsome russians could read them and use when making russian translations of eps (our TV translation was just awful).

I uploaded only season 1 yet, but sooner or later I want to do it with all eps. So - the question - what do you think if I use your scripts there? Of course I will note they are from you and anything else, you wish.

Pleeease?

Yeah I don't mind people using them on their sites so long as they ask. It's just a way of keeping track of who has them so I can email people to tell them I've drastically rewritten a transcript (which I've been doing over the weekend actually; some of the earlier ones I did were very sloppy).
Having a mirror isn't really a problem. The bandwidth problem is nothing to do with how many visitors I get, it's just because the image files are quite big. Since the site started getting really popular around May/June I was planning to do a text only site which would act as a mirror and also be there for anyone who wanted printable transcripts. That way I could kill two birds with one stone. That's just something I never really got around to as I seem to have been spending all my time acquiring the new episodes and transcribing them as well as some of the older ones that weren't fully transcribed at Futurama Chronicles. Oh speaking of new updates 4ACV04 should be up tomorrow with 4ACV18 following at the end of the week. Ah the life of a working person  :D

Anyway back to the point. No, a mirror shouldn't be a problem at this stage. Yes, take any transcript you want except for the uncut ones which I'm keeping exclusive to TNP  :)

Thanx Dave, when I start uploading your transcripts, I'll let you know.
Do you want me to insert any special information there (like many many many thanxxx to Dave or something  :))?
I'd think of giving there your http, "compiled by Dave" and date when you transcribed it, but can add anything else you wish.

No that would be arse kissing. "Transcribed by dave at <a href="www.geocities.com/theneutralplanet">The Neutral Planet</a>" will be fine.

Nearly finished Bender Should Not... just a couple of problems with it. What does Bender say in his flawless Spanish accent? "I will say adios ???? guacamole by the El Rio."
And what does Hermes say when he walks into the lounge and finds the "cigar"? It sounds like a name but I can't make it out. Help would be helpful thanks  :D

That sounds reasonable.

More fun with lines from The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings...

Holo-Vogel: (singing) Who is this one-eyed female baby Moses?
With (furrage???) in her female baby smile.

Holo-Robot Devil: (singing) Well I don't see any danger,
In gambling with a stranger,
For my head is of a most amazing ???

Smitty, if no one's emailed this to you yet, the song Bender plays in Obsoletly Fabulous is "I'm All Right (Theme From Caddyshack)" by Kenny Loggins.

*bump*

I know I said I'd have another update today but Geoshitties isn't being very nice and won't let me upload the file, nor will it let me open it's HTML editor so I can paste the file into it. Assuming it works again tomorrow I'll put both planned uncut episodes up.
