Hello. I'e now got a new website of my own. It's called Anything But Fry. The layout was done by my brother from his design for LFP. I don't want to be a reveal with TFH it's now competion, I even added TFH as a buddie button. All uploads have been uploaded by Lee. Please tell me what you think. Oh, one more thing the banner colour will be changed.

Doesn't the site's name imply it isn't a Fry site?

I was having problems with names. I came up with that becuase it sounds odd. It is a Fry site though.

Nothing But Fry perhaps?
Ok, points that i've told your brother too:
  • Do not use the <img src="" width="100" height="100"> tags for thumbnails, they come up nastily pixelated, make a thumbnail graphic and use that.
  • Try and have content before opening the site, more then Fanart is useful.
  • I was making a Fry Wears section damnit! (Ignore that as a real point) However there are 404s on that page.

Apart from what aslate said (about pixelation and stretching) it also mean the enitre, non-resized picture is loaded when you open a fanart-site. This is not a good thing when you have a 56k modem.

Using Lee as example: he has 13 fanart images. With about 60 kb pr scan (conservative number) his page is 780 kb for images alone. It will take me more than 2 minutes to load the entire page, and your average 56k modem user just won't bother (and probably wont check back).

That said, it looks like a nice start. Good luck.  :)

I'm sure in Copenhagen, but in the deepest, darkest places of Jutland we still have to use old technology (should change within the next 3 months though).  ;)

it looks quite good...the only gripe would be the menu....its on 2 lines....i take it this is an accident cause it could fit on one.....if it doesnt, maybe bring wallpapers down to the second line then centre it.

In the UK loads of people still use 56K, broadband is a pretty large leap up in cost.

Because the URL in the second is wrong, it's  http://www.thefryhole.no-ip.com , you missed out the "the".

Fry wears? the only 3 outfits he has are his original outfit, his "charlton Heston"-outfit and of course the dating outfit from "Teenage mutant leelas hurdles". What more can you have in that section?
