Right, this isn't strictly a futurama site.  Not yet anyway.  I'm developing a site at www.doopnet.com  that will be called the Futurama Fanfic Central, it's a spinoff of my current site called the Simpsons Fanworks Central.  SInce they both use the same database I've started acepting futurama fanfic at the SFWC.  You might be asking what the point of it is, considering the fanfic comunity that's already built up here, and the one at fanfiction.net.  Werl... the SFWC has been running for a very long time, and it's built up a reputation for quality in both the fanfic there, and the reviews of the fanfic.  A group of regular members post their opinions and reviews on fanfic in order to help people improive thier wriitng skills.  We've had several members go on to start writing careers (one is very close to getting a book published).  I'd like to think it's because of the way the SFWC members get together and help each other.  And now we're breaking in to Futurama fanfic.

So, if you want to be a part of it, come along and post.  :D

*reads up* Ye gods, that sounds like somesort of carpy brochure...  :D

Seriously though, we can help people.

I wonder if a certain Buddy Site of SFWC was the inspiration for the name?  ;)  :p

Maybe, maybe not.  Depends on what's behind door number 3.

I'd certainly be interested in becoming a part of this, if that's okay?   :)
