Another New Site

I've started my own site.  There isn't a lot of there at the moment, and I don't have a Buddy Button as yet.

Give me some time, and I'll finish the remaining pages, I'm having to use an Internet Cafe at the moment, as I'm on holiday.

meh... once I saw that it's a geoshittie site, I wasn't expecting much..and I was right... the site basically has nothing going for it... just submit those pictures to other fan sites like tlz, cgef, fsac, ect ect.

I'm new to websites so Geocities offered the best hope, until I learn HTML.

I also wanted my own precence on the net, not just relying other sites to show my work.

New fanart sites are a tricky thing to start. Either they are there to say to people "Hey look, I can draw/scan/mess around with stuff on PSP and show it to you" or they are there to say "Hey I'm starting this site off as a hobby but I'm going to turn it into another boring general site."

Stick to the former and you should do quite well.

Well, Geocities is OK for newbies I guess. But you should move to a new host soon like Netfirms or Fateback. Keep the scan art coming, though, and pretty soon it will really be deserving of its own site.

*Wowwies*!  I have to say that you're amazing @ drawing Amy and Leela!  I still haven't practiced them yet, and I'm still getting the hold down on Bender, but *damn* that's really good!  I likes!  :3  Draw Bender!  lolz

Signatures down't work if you use the QuckPost box. Click "Reply" and check "Show signature" if you want your signature to appear.

I've taken some of the advice from above and moved my site from Geocities.  It's also look a little different.  Thanks to Juliet for suggesting I use Front Page to create and to my friend Chris, who loaned me a copy and showed me how to use it.

Ya gotta lay off Jon, more sites are a good thing!  I never saw the geocities one (cause I was doing other stuff all weekend), but the new site looks pretty good.  Someone said stick to it being just your fanart site, and that's the way you should probably go sean, unless you feel you could offer something unique.  Anyways goodluck!

There is something unique, all the art is by me 

After a quick conversation with aslate of The Fry Hole, I'm going to modify it a little bit more to make it easier for me to update.

SHTML is really useful with sites once they get above 10 pages or something. You have say two files, one is the main one, the other a menu. You put in a bit of code and when that page loads, it will put the two together as one page (not the same as friends). This means when you add a new section or buddy, you change it on one page, not 80 pages (roughly the size of The Fry Hole).

No idea, whatever  picture comes to mind, gets done.  I don't plan scanarts ahead, I just see something to be done and do it.

Click the link above the rows of buttons named "proud to be supported by:", and you'll see all the buttons.

The top 5 are static, ie they're always shown, the buttom 5 rotate in some crazy, German order.

Give me chance I may be an "Art Machine" but even I needs to take days off - like yesterday and most of today.  I'll update with Fry and Yancy and a Bender art later on.
