Did you see what happened to thespringfieldshopper.com? They got jumped by the feds at FOX for their guide pages! Now they have to redo them all in a different style! OH NO! Could the feds be after the Futurama Guide next? Tune in and see!

Doesn't surprise me in the least... they pretty much plagiarized the style from the existing books, and considering they're coming out with a new book this winter that covers the same episodes on TSS's site, well, it was only a matter of time.

yeah I agree...I dunno why that website spent so much time on those guides when fox makes the books every 3 seasons...do people even look at the guides? I wouldnt online, I want the books.

What the hell are you talking about? That's 3 YEARS!!! I mean, wouldn't you rather get the guide page online practically after it airs than wait 3 years?

Let's just say you stole a copy of the Spider-Man script, wrote a novelization of the movie, and put it on the web for free, three weeks before the official novelization hit stores. You think someone at Marvel MIGHT be a little pissed?

That's true. But if they only have to change their layout, it wouldn't be so bad.

Wait, isn't a certain Geocities site doing the same kind of guides with Futurama? They have the same style as the Simpson book guides.

That's what shadowstar is talking about, he does them  ;)

And Shadowstar, they are talking about the simpsons books keeping to come out, but yeah, you might be next at some point.

I think that you have a case that your pics don't look like the real characters... (kidding...) and there is no such existing book... I doubt H-C or Fox would respect the show enough to make one.

No way FOX is going to produce a guide page book for Futurama. That's why my site has been created. Print 'em out and make your own book!

But at least Shadowstar makes chibi forms of the Futurama cast, and Fox can't claim copyrights to that!  :)

This sucks. I hate rich companies.

Anyone else heard of GameFAQs.com? You have now  :p I got to know someone on there who spent much of his spare time writing a guide for a PS game that he liked a lot. For free. And for no reason other than enjoyment. What do lazy magazine publishers do? Take his guide and put it in their magazine, and then make a hefty profit out of his work when he doesn't see a penny.

The guides to "Bender Gets Made" and "AOI I", the final two guides, have been in my computer for at least a month. I've just been too lazy. Maybe soon. Maybe soon...
