The dns points to redirect.dnsix.com half of the time and sets the title to  "blabla a division of gotfuturama corp, defaced by juliet adeoye" which makes it rather clear to me and i guess paul who is behind this (no, not gotfuturama nor juliet   ;)). In the meantime try using www.scanartcentral.com but I think that too will change to rotten soon. Looks like the mydomain dns servers were altered. I'll change the links in peel and cgef to .com anyway.

OK, I'm as bemused as anybody for this attack on my pride and joy, whoever they are, and I think I have an idea, who it was, a joke is a joke, but this went too far.
www.scanartcentral.com  will be the URL for the forseeable future.

This act of obvious spite, will not keep me from endeavouring to keep FSAC alive and kicking.

The .com looks ok... why does it link to rotten though?
It doesn't look like a good joke.

I think .com has gone too now.
Not impressed.

[edit]Hmmm, I seem to get rotten.com with scanartcentral.net but something to do with Futurama feedbag (very X-rated Futurama stuff) with scanartcentral.com

Zed 85, that's far too quick and painless. I would've picked the punishment I devised for Timothy McVeigh and Theodore Kaczinski:

(1) Taken to large, empty field on leash
(2) Arms handcuffed behind back, leash secured to ground
(3) Striped naked
(4) Stick of TNT with long fuse jammed in ass
(5) Fuse lit
(6) Roll cameras! Lookit him go!

...and just so it wouldn't be "cruel and unusual punishment," a little lubricant would be applied to the stick of dynamite.   :evillaugh:

[Edited for language and offensive remarks]

What the hell?! What a bunch of ******* retards...   :finger:

Indeed, scanartcentral.net now links to Rotten.com, and scanartcentral.com links to the Futurama Feedbag, under the banner "Lots of Amy pics for you to w**k" - the bad grammar but use of the British w**k suggests foreign assailants. Any ideas?

I hope you hunt down and sort out these dicks soon Metcalfe! If you need a hand in hanging the bastards, you know where to find me.

It's a dns thing, so it will show for some and not for others.

I think someone from some other site should start talking reason into someone.

I'm not going to let my baby (FSAC) be treated this way, like any true parent, I'm going to fight the good fight, to the best of my abilities.

FSAC ain't dead, to quote FOX - "it's on hiatus", until I can sort a way around the current and unusual problem.  If anything does happen, I'll keep people informed as best as I can.

Yeah, on pauls behalf. We don't need to have teens send to rotten. If the person who did that redirect would live in a country with working jurisdiction, he could get a lot of trouble. Sadly, AFAIK he doesn't.

FSAC is online - http://scanart.smoovenet.com

Gaining control of .net and .com steadily I hope, but please note that address, it might be permanent yet.

Personally I'd take the hackers out to a deserted warehouse and knee cap them,

Then when their writhing in agony I'd double tap them point blank in the head with a .45.

Blow their faces clean off.

Hmmm, both .com and .net now seem to reliably point to FSAC again - albeit with the title bar "Futurama Scan Fart Central - Hope you learned the lesson, fatso!" which leads me to believe the hacking scumbags still have partial control.

But kudos to you, Paul, for getting it (relatively) sorted so quick.    :)

Now all we need to do is FIND these people and chop off their bollocks...

What is Marcus' post about? Where did you find this? What board does it affect?

i thought most reasonable people gave up the notion of hacking after screwing around on school networks until they got banned for a month (like me). That kinda took the edge out hacking. ie. i knew i could do it, now its boring. then i played games on the comps instead  :D

but this? urgh. whomever did this sure hasnt left puberty or something. immature brats...

It's no secret - I found it on a Simpsons site, funnily enough;
 http://www.justdohit.co.uk/index.php?

I think it refers to a hack on a Futurama site a little while back; <Mako> url: http://3eyes.futuramacenter.com/cgi-bin/YaBB/YaBB.cgi  is an address given (I have no idea what site that is - little help?).

What with this, tlz an age ago, and now fsfc... I just wondered if there was any link.

Marcus.

Currently I seem to get "Futurama Scan Fart Central - Stop whining, fucking tracer! [btw we love Futurama]"

Hmmm...
Who the fuck do these bastards think they are!?!  :finger:

The "we love Futurama" bit, to me, means that they have realised that they have pissed many people off but I see it as no excuse for a childish attack at Paul. I really have no idea what they have against him but Paul, regardless, you have my full support. If they have an issue with someone - hacking that person's site is just pathetic and they lose all credibility.  :nono:

Rant over.

Penguin: "(They dead?)"
Bender: "(No.)"
Penguin: "(Then let's kill.)"

Bender: "I need a heart. A human heart. I got a lot of blood in the basement that needs pumping out, if you know what I mean."
Leela: "No, I don't."
Bender: "Me and Roberto caught us a hacker."
Leela: "Oh! Cool."

Art sumbissions - new e-mail addy's

Jamie - jamiefsac@btopenworld.com
Paul - paulfsac@gmx.co.uk

the scanartcentral.net e-mail addy's won't work, until I get control of the DNS, which I'm still battling for.

With luck FSAC should start to point back to www.scanartcentral.net  and www.scanartcentral.com,  under my control again.  The forces that did this dastardly deed, are still at large, unfortunately.

I hope everyone will bare/bear (never get that spelling right) with me, while everything does a switcheroonie, again.

Both .com and .net pointing towards FSAC in the normal manner with no strange and bizarre headers.
