Seeing that some people announced their sites while still in development, I guess it's no harm in telling you mine. It's called The Futurama Source, and you can find it at  http://www.futuramasource.bl.am . Like any ol' site, it will have a little bit of everything, but I wanna focus more on text info. It's been long in development (as you can see the dates) but I'll fix these kinks soon hopefully. Enjoy!

you stole my idea! but i was too lazy to make the new futurama source, so you win.  I like the layout, but the episodes on the left is a little annoying...and get a real host  :D

I like your colour-scheme. The centre table needs to take a larger percentage of your layout because at the moment it's being encroached upon by the left and right tables which are quite overbearing. It might be an idea to make the episode shots smaller or in greyscale (I'd do both), maybe they could be in colour when rolled over? This is so they don't draw the eye off to the side of the layout. Oh, and I'd get rid of the phrase 'Old-school text menu:' from the bottom of the page. It looks really unprofessional.

I like the aesthetics, cool design, nice layout and some good info. Sorry to say this, but I don't think it's that good an idea to have the text menu at the bottom of the page. It makes it seem unimportant, it should stand out more. Otherwise a great site, little out of date, but it's not finished so that's understandable :)

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I actually have a more refined version in my computer, it's just not up yet. But it still looks very similar to the first one, so here will be the some of the specs of the new layout:

-left table area will be reduced to from 200 to 100 pixels wide, or less
-middle area will be wider, and I will still keep the PEEL window
-links window will remain on homepage
-navigation menus/submenus will stay on the top of the page, cuz I think it's more original than the left/right side menu

This is the first week I got off from school, so only now I can get serious with starting out my site!

the layout is cool. but ben is right about that center table.
i like the idea with the navigation bar at top. it's something fresh and new. and it's not a problem for me. if you have more content one day you could use a drop down menu to keep that style.
but i encountered several 404s on that page. it told me i broke the internet, i'm sure i'll get in trouble.

[edit]and your site doesn't have a title yet. get one, i find it irritating to read the url on top of my browser window. but this little problem should easily be fixed.[/edit]

Get a real host says Mr. Tripod? Bah! Its nice, but the pop-ups are really annoying. Anyway, it looks none-too-shabby. I like the layout as well. Very modern and sharp.

Great site JC, and the design is really amazing. I think the links at the top of the page are ok with that kind of design.
Great work.

Competition for what? People are quite capable of visiting two websites. In fact, and this may suprise you, I visit many more than that in a day. It's not like he's selling cars.   :p

Great website.

Can I ask where you get all the images for your site from without breaching copyright?

Wow, it feels flattering to have my page being compared to CGEF. I promised to open it but fortunately I get easily sidetracked with projects such as these.

To be honest, only a few pages are up:
-home page
-tv listings
-episode descriptions, seasons 1-3

While I am getting more efficient in coding pages, I don't mind getting help running the content with someone else. So I'm doing a request right now!

Check my site for the details. (link on top)
