Official site?

It's been a while (1 year) since I last visited Fox's Futurama page, and knew that their Simpsons site got a makeover last year, so wondered if Futurama also did. It IS different, though, but not great at all. The intro page was nice, but they lacking many more sections than The Simpsons.

Fox, you've let down your fans yet again.

The Nibbler eating everyone bit is cool and when I first saw that, it gave me false hope thinking that they might have actually put together a decent site, but no, that was pretty much it

That's FOX for yer. The intro was okay, and they gave us some tiny tidbits of background info (like Zoidy's firstname), but that's it. Nothing else, and they've had plenty of time to put together something interesting.

You know, sometimes I don't think FOX likes Futurama at all.

FOX did the same thing with The Simpsons, on announcing that they were going to revamp the site. Six months later, last fall, the only changes were a new Flash intro and a new navigation page that linked to the old sections. Considering the huge staff they have, that shows very little devotion.

My theories:
Fox sucks nads or,
Too many cooks spoil the broth.

FOX just tried to spruce up a nice intro so we wouldn't kill them, well it didn't work! [hands everyone torches] LET'S GET THEM!!! [runs and trips, falling down sewer]

fox has made a very good intro for the official site.
but,... only character bios?!
come on, we need a good official site for our favorite program.

Yup. There's a cool intro, but then it's only character bios. I think there is bios on Fry, Bender, Leela, Amy, Hermes, Zoidberg, Zapp, Kif, Nibler, and Mom. Also, the reason the Simpsons' official site got so much better was because they now have a domain name, http://www.thesimpsons.com/  whereas before it was just a branch off of http://www.fox.com,  just like the present Futurama site. Why don't you check it out. The site is http://www.fox.com/futurama

Fox once had an ok info site...  I wouldn't have rated that one poor, but it was down there........  Anyways, I don't expect a good site from Fox ever.

Kryten is right, and coupled with the info Cellery showed us, Fox's quality of their websites reflect their relative love for their shows. But don't worry. As a backlash to that 80's site, I've got an ace up my sleeve. Just give it a little more time and work.

Hey cellery, like I said Futurama once had an ok site.  That's Fox for you, they always have advertisements for their newest shows, but when it comes to backing up anything (excluding the Simpsons) that's been up for awhile, they like to just shove out of sight and mind.......  IT'S REALLY ANNOYING!!!!

The only cool thing on the Fox website was this introduction flash movie... it was actually pretty cool, and I think some other site grabbed it and put it on theirs...

Though having said that they're probably going to try sueing me, because knowing Fox they've probably gone and trademarked the phrase 'Bite my shiny matal ass'.

Have you seen the new Adult Swim section on Futurama? After AS got it's much-needed update, they added a few more things to their section on Futurama. Not much, but it's something new, at least.

It's certainly better than the Fox site ever was for Futurama info.  TV.com's Futurama site has some nice clips on it as well, although it's far from official.

How convenient  I think, if AS would sell hoodies or basically anything with Futurama on it, they'd get billions. Even on T Zone wallpapers I thought they could add a few Futurama ones. Put some good wallpapers and I'd be begging for that phone
