My new Futurama Fansite

Hi all,

Just a quick post to tell you about the new site I created using only notepad (except graphics). Its written in XHTML and CSS and it is basically for a College Project.

All the banner, buttons, colours , themes, code was created by myself. The only things I did not create are the original captures in the image gallery and of course any images of the characters, was it Matt Groening who drew them? Or was it someone else. You can correct me if you like.

Anyway, if you have a moment, please feel free to take a look. All in all I spent close to 40 hours over about 3 weeks to put the whole site together, but thats because coding with notepad is not quick, (at least for me).

Hi,

Cheers for all the good comments. I'm at college with big projects like this one so I will continue work on the website when it gets to summer. May/June time will be the highest likelihood of next updates. Now please excuse me im hammered, had 5 pints and 4 glasses of wine and its only 3.30pm in merry old england. So I'll stop waffling and write some more crap. Right i'll keep ya all posted and if u want to skype me my thingy is the.original.gasman.

I think it needs centering though. You have it to the left at the moment.

I'm also jealous of whatever course you're on - that's an awesome thing to be doing as college work.

Much more fun the friggin' tire company database I had to do as a final project for AS computing anyway...

To answer ya question zmithy the course is a Foundation Degree in Multimedia & 3D design. Its at NCN College in Nottingham. A Foundation Degree is higher than a HND but lower than a Ba or Bsc.

Hey dont get too disheartened I did AS computing as well, as soon as u finish for uni (if ya go) then you really start to learn and also never need that database stuff again. Well I dropped out of AS levels after the first year and went to do a BTEC national diploma in computing (equal to 2.5 A2 Levels).

Right I'm off for an airsoft match here www.phoenix-airsoft.co.uk  so I best get going.

PS - 4 weeks till I finish my course, then soon after that I will begin work on Futuramania again.

Incredible site !

I spotted a little mistake :
in the season episode guide, on season 1, you wrote "A Fistful of Dollars", but that, is the name the real name is taken off. The real name is : "A Fishful of Dollars".

Anyway, really nice site
