I was just at a comic book store in Round Like, Illinois.... and I came across a nice packaged set of Die Cast Futurama collectables. The set has Fry, Leela, Bender, Proffessor, and one of those clicky things. They're pretty awesome, so i'd reccomend them.

cool.. i thought i was the only person who opened things. my parents always hate it when i open "collectibles"... as if i'm gonna sell them in 50 years. anyways, if i can't find the second set, i plan on ordering them from the internet pretty soon... they're just so cool

I just looked for the diecast figures on eBay. They look pretty tempting, I have to admit...

Where are Futurama figures available? I can't never find anything of Futurama in stores except the DvD's.

I've heard Newbury Comics sometimes has Futurama stuff, and eBay too.

I've seen the comics in Newbury Comics, but that's only four states in America that have the store. It is an awesome store though.

Could someone post a link to the eBay item(s) so we can see them?

I see a new different kind of set... of Futurama figures. Leela Fry, big nibbler thingy, Professor Farnsworth and Bender.

I actualy sure a Bender mmask inside my local Amercian Comic store, that was before i was a big fan, as well as a Futurama Collector. I have got Leela in that nice gear from Jarassic Bark, Fry and Bender. I also have seen the die cast collection, yes im coming to them now. I sure them in the Futurama comics, but the American Edition, also the Leela and Kif bendy toys. I iwsh i was a big fan then....

What a great guy.  Back to the point that some of us have never even seen the die cast figures.  PLEASE POST THE LINK and/or A PICTURE.

I could only find a decent picture of the first set of die cast figures. But here you go. I have both sets of the figures and they're great. Even better in real life

Does anyone realize that Leela is taller than everyone else in the Die-Cast & Bender is too short?

A friend of mine got me the die-cast for my birthday last year. Though the Leela fell apart.  :(

I think the figures are real close to scale as far as what we have seen on the show. I do believe Bender is shorter than Fry and Leela is a little taller than him, although she may not be that much taller than him.
Here is a link to pictures of both sets:

I agree that the die casts are ultra cool. My wish actually is that some company pick these up over action figures. I mean, already we have the entire PE crew how about giving us more characters from the Futurama-verse?

You can usually find sets for very cheap. Not sure what they have been going for lately but expect to pay at least half price for most of them, although, I cannot remember seeing too many second series for sale recently.

I won an auction a while ago and got the Nibbler Hermes, Amy, and Zoidberg ones.  Just came in today.  If I saw an auction for the others, I'd get them too.  A man can dream... a man can dream.

I bought that first diecast set (Fry, Leela, etc) from Things From Another World.  But they've long since sold out of them. Got 'em all on top of the computer desk.  Along with Leela and Bender bendies, a Leela poseable (which also came with Nibbler), a small Samurai Jack figure (fast food toy), and an Edgerrin James bobblehead.   :)

I figure the football player makes up for the slight nerdishness of the Futurama collectibles.  :)

I have mine right in front of my keyboard, where when I'm inside, I sadly spend most of my time.

My computer desk is only just wide enough for my monitor and speakers, so I have my Bender bendy just to the side of one speaker. Should really get the die casts at some point too.

Dont worry about it, on my desk i've got a raised shelf section that contains almost my entire Futurama collection (read my How Much Ya Got Thread, and you'll realise that's a lot!) Then down the side panels I keep all the comics and calenders.
This is slightly balanced out by some movie soundtrack Cds and a regular desk lamp. But then theres Michael Jackson Books, DVDs and Cds, the Kill Bill Crazy 88, Darth Vader, and Alien Queen figures. Oh well,it all helps me concentrate and inspires me while I work.
