August 12th is what CGEF lists as the US release date for season 2, so yeah, it looks like a 6 month-ish schedule (March 9 for season3, for context)  Still, It is nice to have a release date.  I'll be more excited closer to the date.  Now, to figure out why August 24th sounds so familiar... really... more than any single date has a right to be...

As far as I can tell, that release date is pretty solid. FYI, there won't be anything new on it that wasn't on the Region 2 release.

I'm not a R2-er, but I do know that there's deleted scenes for practically all episodes, trailers for the previous DVD releases, and a hidden easter egg for the table read of "TDHAIP."

I remember a while ago ShoopBender posted a link to an online store selling season 4 in british pounds. Does anyone know how many US dollars are worth 16 pounds in British currency? I'm thinking it may be cheap to order the british season 4 version.

Uh-oh. Even Amazon lists Vol. 4 to have only 16 commentary tracks instead of 18(or 19 if you count the extra JB track). Did FOX cut them out? Why?

Very Hard but not impossible, i.e. Fight Club. Just want to add that I was looking at the sales ranks for season for on Amazon in the U.S. and season 4 is up to #97 on the DVD list. The family guys titles were lower except for one which was at 93? I may have them reversed. Either way if Season 4 can stay there or maybe creep higher maybe the beancounters at FOX will take notice and renew the show so we don't have to bother creating a cult to wipe them out.
