no gamecube game???

When did they cancel futurama for the gamecube???

I looked away for a while and was pretty sure the futurama game was coming out on all three platforms.  and Now it looks like the one for gamecube is cancelled...

anyone know anything more?

well when it was first announced it was for all three consoles, but when support for the GC started dieing, it was ditched in favour of just doing it on PS2 and X-BOX.

I wish they had have done a PC version as well so i could at least have played it (me only owning a G.C (and proud of it) )

apparently god hates me...

frankly, I just don't want to spend however much a ps2/xbox costs...but I have enough friends w/ ps2's, i may just buy the game and use it on a friend of mine's ps2...

I don't see how they could have lost by putting the game onto GC as well though, I mean, the game is already made and everything...

Yes, but they would have to manufacture the game on a 3rd format, and since the game was never going to be a smash hit, and since the GC is the 3rd most popular console, they probably decided that the costs would outweigh the money to be gained from making a GC version.

the only reason you buy a gamecube is for the mario games, which are decreasing in quantity every year.

Yeah, the Mario games rule and everything, but there's so many other cloolsome games only on GC too. Like the Super Monkey Ball's, and Zelda, etc...

Anyone who says either of the three main consoles has no good games is wrong. Having said that, if I got a Gamecube there would be a very small number of games I'd buy for it, but those few games would all be 5 star games.

yeah, youre right, there is good games only available for gamecube. but, most of the good games are also available on xbox or ps2 as well, and those consoles can play dvds, etc... so i dont think those few games can make most people spend a hundred bucks or so for a gamecube.
just to brag, i tried out a psx, and it was AWESOME!

You can get used Gamecubes for under $100 now which seems like a good deal. I'm tempted to get one so I can play Zelda and Metroid Prime, but I'm having too much fun with Xbox Live right now.

Personal i did not know there was such a fan base for the gamecube and i was kinda pissed off when the gamecube version of the futurama game got canned (or just disappered) even though screen shots and videos of the gamecube version were being released near the release date and then suddenly it just disappred, and personaly im not bothard to buy and other console cause i just don't have the cash just to splash out on a PS2 or XBox just to get one game
