why would it be october?  my guess would be september like last year... the sets (along with the simpsons season sets) seem to be 6 months apart in release dates.

Hopefully your right and it will be September (but a month long wait till October wouldn't be that bad).

if u want s4 and s3 quickly get it from amazon.co.uk and if your dvd rom or dvd player is not region free then modify it! much more sensible than waiting so long for u.s release

Not everybody fancies watching DVDs on a computer monitor. And don't assume that a typical US TV can handle PAL video just because European ones can usually handle NTSC. Plus many DVD players can't be hacked, they need to be chipped (read: expensive).

Season 2 came out in August, I'm pretty sure. I bought it while I was on vacation in Calgary (and didn't have to pay PST! Muahaha!).

another reason for wanting R1 dvd's instead of hacking your player is the fact that you'll be able to take them to friends houses and stuff.  if you had r2, and used a dvd rom or hacked player, you cant take futurama to your friends house
