gotfuturama.com, err, I mean top secret intelligence reports that single episodes may be available in March at low cost.

I wonder if ... if dual Futurama/Simpsons DVDs would help? We all know Futurama is no more since it never got the exposure and constant time slot as their yellow cousins. Perhaps if people see a Futurama episode on their Simpsons DVD they will more likely buy the full season of Futurama?

Or we can go into every store and hide the Family Guy sets in some obscure locations and put the Futurama ones in obvious locations! Bwuahahahaa, come laugh with? MMM, ok, guess not.

That's actually a really great idea, the first I mean  ;) Most futurama fans would have bought the box-sets or in the process of and by putting a simpsons episode back-to-back with futurama, you're bound to recruit some more fans...

Yeah, Matt Groening DVDs would be good. 2 clasic Simpsons eps and 2 clasic Futurama eps.

it'd be cool (and sinister like) if they added new features to these single disks that arent in the seasonal sets...

I doubt id buy them if they were nothing aside from the episodes.

That would suck. I'm not buying them all again... unless more deleted scenes!

I'm pretty sure that gotfuturama.com also said that the discs will only contain season 1 and 2 eps. I like the Simpsons/Futurama disc idea, although it would probably do little to help bring Futurama back. FOX probably is just releasing them to create more interest in the show (and make more money) so that those who haven't bought the boxed sets will. Besides, in an effort to bring new eps of Futurama back to TV, sales from boxed sets are probably the only ones that count.
