I recently bought 5 tin signs, but the company I purchased them from didn't have the 6th sign in the whole set - the 'You're Not Paid To Think' one.

I would *really* love to complete my set and would like to know whether anyone has seen this item on ebay or through an online auction site?

Also, why is it only this 1 tin sign that is extremely hard to find? Were less made or something... Rubio I'm looking to you  :)

Thanks everyone
Bendo

-Ahem- While I don't purport to know production numbers I would speculate that the reason it is in such short supply is that it is the most popular sign. For some reason I think people have responded well to it. I don't think the graphics are all that great but I think it is the slogan more than anything that gets to people. I personally like some of the others more over this one but what does my opinion count?
Currently I am missing two signs from my collection and this is one of them. The other is Resist the Career Chip one that I really want to get.
What are some of other peoples opinions on this particular tin sign versus the others that were released?

I've actually got the 'You're Not Paid To Think' Tin Sign. I guess I'm lucky. If anyone's interested, I got it from Forbidden Planet, although that was over a year ago... My opinion is that it's my third favorite Tin Sign, right after 'The Future is Today...', and 'Join the Man-Machine Brotherhood' signs, which I also have  :)

Thanks everyone.
I thought that was the reason, but it's strange that it's JUST the You're Not Paid To Think one that everyone snapped up!
If anyone finds a site where they sell this (rare!) item, please let your Futurama brethren (and the female equivalent...) know. Ta

The "You're Not Paid to Think" sign gets the most response out of non-Futurama fans when I show them the tin signs I have.  I just have my group of friends to go on, but I bet that sign is popular all over.  Some people probably bought the sign just for what it says even if they were not Futurama fans.

Cartoon Network sells them, along with 4 others. http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/shop/swm/clt.01.html

it'll cost ya though. it's a store, not an auction site. heh.

Go to this address below (on the www.gotfuturama.com  site) for links of sellers. Also, aren't they available through Rocket USA's website?

I know these are not tin signs, but you can find the "You're not paid to think" sign as a refrigerator magnet in this set (it includes also some signs that were not part of the tin signs series).
