I've only started recently.  I didn't care for them at first because it seemed at the time that Futurama was going to be around for many years to come.  Obviously, FOX didn't want to do it that way.  I only have one issue so far, and I don't know how you can subscribe or order back issues.  I hope I can find a way to subscribe to them!  And I hope there's a way to order back issues too.  I just don't trust Ebay for some reason.

I'm holding out for trade paper-back so I can put it with my Chirality collection.  Ahhh, post-appocalyptic lesbians.  Thank you Satoshi Urushihara.

See you in the PE stockroom room!

KurtPikachu2001, if you don't trust ebay, but you still want to get back issues, I guess one way would be to get the Futurama-O-Rama book off Amazon. It includes the first 4 comics. Then hopefully some moe books will come out with future comics, in due time  :)

I've got them all so far. US 1-15 + 2 Crossovers. UK 1-7 and Futurama-o-rama. If you live in the UK I can recommend a great site to order them all from, you can still order them from abroad, but it will cost alot.

Ok so i don't collect any comix at all.. But i want to! Especially now that Futurama is gone.
To my knowladge there are so far 15# of Futurama comix, right?
And what are crossovers and what does "Region 1" stand for?
Isn't all Futurama comix the same in every country?

Region 1 is the US, region 2 is the UK and Europe. It's usually used to describe DVDs but I guess it can apply to the comics too. The US comics are the originals. The UK comics are just printed in a larger size, using the same main comic stips. But they aren't being done in quite the same order an they're very far behind with issue 7 being the latest.

Yeah, what M Jackson said, although I don't think the UK are very far behind the US versions though. We shall see what happens with the newest crossover though if it is going to be bi-monthly or quarterly as well. That should help to fill in plenty of issues for the UK to reprint.
Oh, and I also collect the comics, UK and German versions as well.  :)

I started collecting just the other week! I picked up the Halloween Comic, but feel its kinda pricey for a couple of stories, plus I'm 18, and some weird looks from the guy at the counter. If only he knew what he was missing out on!

Where do you get comics from? I managed to get the Futurama-o-rama book from Amazon, but that's all.

If you're in the UK, go to booksncomics.co.uk. That may not be exactly the right address. If not just type booksncomics in on google. All the Futurama comics are at the bottom of The Simpsons page.

The US are on issue #15, the UK on issue #7.  Assuming the US release is also bi-monthly, the UK are 16 months behind.  :hmpf:

Ah, thanks M Jackson. I've never seen a real comic book store around here before, and the only way to get hold of comics was through trade paperbacks.

Bear in mind though that in the UK the two Crossover Comics are listed as Futurama comics #3 and #4, so in the American run I think the UK is only on about issue #5.

Australia's only up to Issue #7 (New Year's Rockin' Evil) and Issue #8's not coming out here until January. I hate the fact that it's also quaterly here, as it'll take about 2 years for any new American issues to make their way down here.

Sad, very sad... Very fortunate with so many comic shops in So. Calif., that I can avoid the few shops like that. One where I get Futurama comics welcomes even casual comic buyers (like me  :D )

It's very hard to get your hands on issuses #5, #6 and #7 up north (Sweden).

My comics-shop only imports 2 copies of each issue and I didn't get those issues because I hadn't started my collection at that time.

I have been having some computer troubles lately so have not been able to do any real updates but I was able to get some stuff up regarding the schedule for Futurama Comics over the next couple of years. The good news is that at least they are planning that far in advance. More good news for you TPB collector's is that the next TPB titled Futurama Adventures is coming out later this year.
For the whole scoop check my site at this link:
 http://members.cox.net/futurama/BongoPreview.html
On another related note - Futurama Comics 16 is not listed in the shipping list from Diamond Comics Previews this week and is not on the tentative list for next week either. Sounds like it is a little behind schedule and we should know more by next week.

this really has to do with simpsons comics, but it is just to small of a question to make my own thread for, but anyway, why is the us version of, say, 76th comic is the 88th comic in the uk? This has been bugging me for quite a while.

Wait a sec... I'm pretty sure I have had issue #8 (it's an X-Men spoof) for at least six months, unless we're talking about a different line of comics. I got that one from Quality Comics, Hay St Mall, Perth.

Some stores in Australia sell American versions of the comics, so they have an issue in stock around a few months after it comes out in America.

I saw the mini comic, it had the same cover as the US Issue #4 Futurama Comic (UK Issue #9), with Zapp and Kif on the front. Unfortunately it was sealed up with The Simpsons comic, and because it had that same cover, I just left it thinking it was that same issue, just a smaller version. Was this the case, davids?...

Well, what's the comic strip about? If it's to do with Zapp having Leela sent to him to be his jungle queen, then it's a reprint.

I started collecting couple of months ago but have only managed up to issue 6. Had some luck though, someone on this forum (I can't recall who - its saturday morning! *yawns* ) recommended Books and Comics or something so I got there phone number and ordered the remaining issues, right up to #16.
