I'm not sure why people would get so angry at that reviewer.  He seemed pretty positive about the set and the show, and called it "one of the better shows on television".

As for the Amy comment, eh...she serves her purpose well enough but she was always the least interesting Planet Express member to me.

[Scruffy] Second [/Scruffy]

Anyway, don't get mad at the reviewers. The way I see it, at least the show is getting some recognition.

well I am aware of that. I just don't buy tv shows on dvd. What am I an idiot? But that is a relief that I don't have to wait forever to own the "Sting." Thanx Snoo-Snoo.

My copy arrived this week, along with the first season of the Flintstones and the complete Scooby Doo, Where Are You?  Now if I could just figure out how to get out of work for a week!

They ARE actually released by the seasons.  But it is production season (the order in which they were produced), not the seasons that Fox showed them in.  In production order, the episodes are made to be viewed in 4 distinct seasons, and hence 4 DVD sets.

The couldn't actually maximise profts that way, at least not by much. 5 DVD sets would equal less episodes pr set, and the pricetage would be considerably lower because of that. Then you have the production cost of the packaging, the artwork, etc. for an extra set. These are pretty much fixed rates, and the extra DVD-disc they'd save on each set would be the least of the expenses. So in the end FOX could end up losing profit if they'd went for 5 sets.

I think what zoidbergrocks means is that season three was the best dvd set released in region 1.
