Oh, I thought it might have just been the Melbourne shipment or something. I took mine back, got a replacement from a different shop, it didn't work, took it back, this time for money. I'll try again in 2 weeks.

they said they know now there is a problem, but it was only with some batches of the futurama season 3 dvds. If you talk to the store where you bought your dvd and order a new copy of season 3 in about 2 weeks the new dvds will work fine

Season 3 DVD is in Big W or K-Mart for 75 moola. Works fine on my DVD Player, but I had some problems using it on my PS2 (Damn crap), but some turning off 'n' on techniques worked like a charm.

If, when I get it for a third time, it doesn't work on my ps2 I will be rather unhappy, and it will involve ringing Fox HE and absolutly blasting them.

Hey, it sounds like fun.

Hey, it sounds like fun.

Bombing them would be in order, but then you may never get a working set of DVDs.

I saw Season 3 in the shops today but I couldn't buy it cos I've already got it ordered from ebay....it's been delayed by a few weeks due to "unforseen demand" in the US....bastards....and the clincher is the seller had the BUY NOW option....to me, that means now not in 2 months....

Damn you ebay...!! *shakes fist*

That's why you don't use Ebay. How much are you paying for it?

I might try to get it again sometime, hopefully they have sorted themselves out.

Hooray....! Finally have Season 3 dvd and it works fine....BAM....Best season so far (not seen all of S4 yet)

The box art is cool, the menu set up is great and the extras are as always brilliant....
My only gripe is the Easter egg table read for A Tale of 2 Santas is only audio....I would have loved to see the voice actors sitting round the table doing the ep....ah well can't have everything....

I haven't listened tt any of the commentaries yet, I want to make them last heh-heh

It works on PS2 and XBOX, but not the first few shipments, as they were screwed up for some reason.

It is in Region 4 (maybe also Region 2), and thus would not work on a normal American Region 1 player.

On your computer (or laptop) you have to set a region for the dvd-drive of it. If you set it as region 2 you will be able to play European DVDs, but then you won't be able to watch Region 1 US DVDs.

So if you have a normal dvd player, it may be worth having your computer one as a region 2 player. But then if you rip dvd's etc. then it might not be.

You can buy multi-region players for not too much, which can play all regions. I have this thing for my PS2 called 'Region-X' which allows me to play other region dvds. It cost me about AU$60 (~US$40), and I got it because my parents wouldn't let me get the PS2 chipped.

Why don't you just get a multi regional dvd player? Ours can play any dvd from any region

most dvd players can accecpt firmware from a burn cd, or if not they can be hacked by local video repair / stereo suppliers. Some even have region unlock built into them, u just have to know the code combination on the remote

With a little online research (if u know your make and model number) u can find the region hacking solution for you.

Actually, all of these episodes have aired in Australia - just not in some states. I know for a fact that Bendin' In The Wind, I Dated A Robot and Futurestock never aired in Perth, and that's only 3 episodes. Which state do you live in? I really can't recall anywhere ever missing out on 8 episodes from 3ACV...
