(ship crash lands to planet express)
Fry: Well, atleast now we know who trashed our ship.

I still think a Coin-Op game series was the best way to go(earn them extra money for episodes)

#1.the game would be 1-4players
#2.Characters would be(Lelea,Fry,Amy,Bender)
#3.You have to save the Prof and the Jamicain guy from different bosses through out the game.
#4.Each character has spechial moves and phrases.
#5.Here are the levels:Past 1999,Future 2999-3000,Mars universty,Downtown NNYC,Onboard the Titanic,Onboard the DOOP ship,MOM's robot factory&Hell it's self.

I thought the game was great!  I was a bit worried when I bought it because alot of people were complaining about a crummy framerate and an annoying camera, but I honestly never noticed it.  I mean sure, every once in a long while the camera doesnt come through the doorway with you, but its a quick fix.  It was never a big enough deal to kill me.  Fry's levels were great, espceially Planet Express.  It was a little weird though that there was no door next to the couch in the employee lounge... That meant I didn't get to see a big piece of the building.  The Sewer level and Old New York were fun, though the idea of shooting at mutants was a bit disturbing.  "Hi Leela's friends and relatives, how are you today?  ZAPPPP!" Also who knew Old New York was full of guys with rocket launchers?  I think my fav part was Red light district.  A working suicide booth... Awesome.

Bender's levels took me forever.  I suck at platformers.  Bender's lines made up for it though.  "Just as I always thought, boulders DO float in quicksand!"

Leela was out of character but fun to use.  "Mmm vitamins taste like candy!"  What is she, four?  Anyway the levels were great.  I loved the whole tomb-raider deal they had going on, and the boss was great

The ending was probably the most clever thing I have ever seen in a videogame.  The cutscenes were awesome.  Together they're one of my favorite episodes.

I thought it was soso, I loved the first level but was disappointed that there wasn't much free roaaming or interactability for the rrest of the game, I'm also upset it didn't have hermes, amy, or other favorite characters

I dont know how the hell i found a new copy for only 30 bux on ebay last year.

BEST investment for the ps2 ever. The realism compared to Futurama is awesome. you can play for hours on the same level and have so much fun! and its not all that hard. i beat it in about 8 hours according to the game without cheats, then went back and messed around.

Esh, Im very sorry for bumping, but its just so great to finally discuss this with people!

I love this game, only cost me a tenner from HMV...I love the Bender levels best, Leela's I would say are the hardest...only 5 more Nibblers to collect overall, and Im done!  :D

If I hadnt chosen HookerBot 5000 as my name, it would have been Robobium, or something along those lines :P

Love the music on Zoidbergs level-took me ages to do like!

Fry's levels scared me, mainly cause of the mutants running towards you...I know you shoot them, but its kinda scary...*is embarrassed*-like I cant go on Doom or House of The Dead...esh, my imagination is too vivid-I get scared for Fry...which I'll freely admit, at 17 isnt the coolest thing to be...haha...

Ok, that doesnt make much sense. Never mind, my point about Zoidbergs music still might make some sense...

I personally loved the game's levels, its quotes,
"So Fry, what was death like?"
"Well first, everything went dark, then a big screen came and said 'Game Over."
Hilarious! :D
Music was equally as good. It sounds really sweet. The only thing I have to complain about were the backgrounds and visuals. At times they seemed quite a bit dodgy. But that's only one thing.

It helped me out anyways...I learned how to kill Destructor at the end using it, anyways...

Shoot the mosquito bots, aim, then fire fire fire!! Alternatively, when the alarm rings, just aim for his chest anyway, taking one or two hits, although then you'll need to recharge your health.

I'll probably get the game in a few days (finally!), but I got a couple of questions:
First, Is the framerate and the graphics really as bad as the critics say?
Second, Can you play as any of the characters or are certain levels played with certain characters?

Thanks!

The graphics aren't the best but they pass muster for the cartoon style. Yes, you are limited to specific characters for specific levels.
Criticisms from me would be the lack of diversity in gameplay and enemies. It's just jump over things, turn levers, take out that same creature again and again...
But still, for fans of the show it's a must.

I'd like to see a new Futurama game on the next-gen consoles. Maybe one with more freedom of travel and mission objectives as seen in The Simpsons: Hit and Run. That kind of GTA - derived freedom in a game is really cool and beats the hell out of linear levels and storylines. Imagine having the run of New New York, being able to interact with the other characters and commandeer spacecraft... what fun.
...Yes... that's just my little fantasy.

Wait a minute! I was thinking about that exact thing this morning!

how freaking awesome would that be?

Driving around new new york in a hovercar, flying a spaceship onto other planets (within our galaxy, of course  ;)) zappin' people with ray guns, fighting monsters and teaching alien women to loveeee.....

*head explodes*

I know. It's the kind of thing that makes me salivate. But I'll see your GTA-style freedom of gameplay and exploration and raise it by an RPG element. Character interaction and choices made during the game affect plot outcomes - eg: play as Fry and be considerate toward Leela or Amy to score a date with one of them, and so on.

Leela: "So Fry, what was death like?"
Fry: "Well, at first, everything went dark. Then there was a light, and it said 'GAME OVER'."

Bender: "You mean...?"
Professor: "Yes. You're a playable character!"
Bender: *sniff* "This is the happiest day of my life."

Leela: "Yahoo! In your face, non-playable characters!"

The game certainly takes a lot of pleasure in breaking the fourth wall in ways the show never did.

DESTRUCTOR: "And so I die... as I lived... a giant robot."

Professor: "Nobody kills my crew but me!"

Leela: "Yeah, Fry's great, and we all love him."

Bender: "Oh, I see, just because a robot wants to kill all humans he's automatically 'evil'!?"

I cringe to think how poorly Vice City would run on my crappy PC. Hardware limitations have forced me to evolve as a console gamer unfortunately, but I have seen screenshots of that mod and it's the right idea.

I was gonna buy upgraded video and audio cards, but I decided to get this Hydrogen Bomb instead. The Uzbekistani guy I bought it from was desperate to sell so I got it really cheap. You never know when you'll need to vapourize a small portion of the Earth.
I stand by my decision.
