I dont know how the hell i found a new copy for only 30 bux on ebay last year.
BEST investment for the ps2 ever. The realism compared to Futurama is awesome. you can play for hours on the same level and have so much fun! and its not all that hard. i beat it in about 8 hours according to the game without cheats, then went back and messed around.

Esh, Im very sorry for bumping, but its just so great to finally discuss this with people! I love this game, only cost me a tenner from HMV...I love the Bender levels best, Leela's I would say are the hardest...only 5 more Nibblers to collect overall, and Im done! If I hadnt chosen HookerBot 5000 as my name, it would have been Robobium, or something along those lines :P

welcome to PEEL, hookerbot ... you seem like one of the very few new people who aren't retarded. Here's the FAQ. I think you should read them... but it's up to you: http://www.thefryhole.co.uk/peelfaq.php Enjoy.

I personally loved the game's levels, its quotes, "So Fry, what was death like?" "Well first, everything went dark, then a big screen came and said 'Game Over." Hilarious! Music was equally as good. It sounds really sweet. The only thing I have to complain about were the backgrounds and visuals. At times they seemed quite a bit dodgy. But that's only one thing.

The graphics aren't the best but they pass muster for the cartoon style. Yes, you are limited to specific characters for specific levels. Criticisms from me would be the lack of diversity in gameplay and enemies. It's just jump over things, turn levers, take out that same creature again and again... But still, for fans of the show it's a must.
I'd like to see a new Futurama game on the next-gen consoles. Maybe one with more freedom of travel and mission objectives as seen in The Simpsons: Hit and Run. That kind of GTA - derived freedom in a game is really cool and beats the hell out of linear levels and storylines. Imagine having the run of New New York, being able to interact with the other characters and commandeer spacecraft... what fun. ...Yes... that's just my little fantasy.

Wait a minute! I was thinking about that exact thing this morning! how freaking awesome would that be? Driving around new new york in a hovercar, flying a spaceship onto other planets (within our galaxy, of course ) zappin' people with ray guns, fighting monsters and teaching alien women to loveeee..... *head explodes*

I know. It's the kind of thing that makes me salivate. But I'll see your GTA-style freedom of gameplay and exploration and raise it by an RPG element. Character interaction and choices made during the game affect plot outcomes - eg: play as Fry and be considerate toward Leela or Amy to score a date with one of them, and so on.

Leela: "So Fry, what was death like?" Fry: "Well, at first, everything went dark. Then there was a light, and it said 'GAME OVER'."
Bender: "You mean...?" Professor: "Yes. You're a playable character!" Bender: *sniff* "This is the happiest day of my life."
Leela: "Yahoo! In your face, non-playable characters!"
The game certainly takes a lot of pleasure in breaking the fourth wall in ways the show never did.

DESTRUCTOR: "And so I die... as I lived... a giant robot."
Professor: "Nobody kills my crew but me!"
Leela: "Yeah, Fry's great, and we all love him."
Bender: "Oh, I see, just because a robot wants to kill all humans he's automatically 'evil'!?"

Yes. There should be a petition for a new Futurama game in GTA-style.

I cringe to think how poorly Vice City would run on my crappy PC. Hardware limitations have forced me to evolve as a console gamer unfortunately, but I have seen screenshots of that mod and it's the right idea.

I was gonna buy upgraded video and audio cards, but I decided to get this Hydrogen Bomb instead. The Uzbekistani guy I bought it from was desperate to sell so I got it really cheap. You never know when you'll need to vapourize a small portion of the Earth. I stand by my decision.

Damnation. I just hope that a gta-styled Futurama game in the same vein as The Simpsons: Hit and Run has passed the minds of those who rule.
