explanation. Australia's far away from everyone so we ship them to you. It takes along time to ship stuff to you. Also australians seem to have bbqs all the time and lovely weather thus we are gelous of you. so when im reading my futurama comics in my house because its raining please excuse me if i dont feel to bad for you.

I don't know why we are so far behind, but you can get the direct edition comics and stay up to date.

The reason that Australian Newstands are so far behind is that they get them from a bongo licensee, that is further behind.

if u want the latest issues ooy go to a speciallised comic store to by the imported direct editions from the US. I know I do

I know I do, I don't think Britain either has got much further than #6 if actually there at all.

Distance doesn't mean jack these days, there has to be another reason another country is behind.
For example, Freelancer was released about the 3rd of May in America, and 10th of May in Australia, but didn't arrive in Britain until 13th of April - That's because some EU bullcrap stuff, so something similar may be holding back the comics?

Same reason C4 is behind showing Futurama in the UK - they're slow, and it's low on the priorities list.

This is actually a good question.  Since transport can't be the issue, I wonder what is?  I would think that delaying release in other parts of the world would result in a HUGE market for counterfiet and bootleg material.  Which in turn would result in lower profits for the makers of (fill in whatever delayed item you like).

the australian/ new zealand issues on sale here at australian news stands is printed for our market only and are not the same as the US issues, i.e letters and advertisements
