The only problem I have with Amazon UK is that they tend to ship pre-orders on the date of release (and not before, to reach you on day of release). This is especially annoying since here in the UK most PC games are released on Friday - thus you usually have to wait until Monday or Tuesday to get your order.

They're fairly reliable, though.

How do orders from amazon.co.uk get delivered. Do they just get left on your doorstep by those lazy bums at Australia Post for anyone to take?

if u go priority u have to sign for it, if u miss them u have to go to the post office to pick it up, if u go non priority it just gets left outside

When I ordered my season1 and 2 from amazon uk, I just had it left on the front step, I live in a quiet housing estate, and I was home that afternoon, I wasnt worried

Is season 2 out in stores? That would be a lot easier for me just to get it at a store then order from a website.

Does anyone know if powerdvd ( i got it with windows xp) is a multisystem player and if not how much does it cost too make a ps2 multisystem. someone told me that a law in australia was passed to make chipping legal. If thats true why isnt it done commercially???

I paid 70 odd dollars for 13 episodes of season 1 and the season 2 dvd has 19. episodes, should'nt season 2 cost more. By right it should cost around 105 dollars.

I dont know why its not done commercially, although I think Altech Computers Used to do the PS1 commercially

I was passed in the high court or something that Sony stopping u from playing import games was a breech of your consumer rights.

Yes power DVD is multiregion, but u have to have a multi-region DVDROM drive (if its not already crack the firmware), and u'll need a copy of DVD region Killer to make windows recognise your lack of region.

But u really dont need this, as the British Futurama DVDs are Region2 and Region4...

How much does postage and handling add to the cost. And do you get the exact same thing you would get in oz, only earlier.

yes u get the exact same thing, only the packaging has a plastic sleeve

it was about $10 postage, but that evens out coz u dont get charged European Union Tax

Sorry bout the double post, but there is a bit of a gap between my posts-

I've been meaning to take a screenie of this for a few weeks, and I did this arvo while I ha some spare time on my day off...

here it is- Diffinitive Proof that the british Futurama DVDs are both region 2 and region 4

Pictured below (wait awhile the pic is 136kb)is a pic of a window from Leadtek Winfast DVD, asking me to choose the correct region for the disc (I switched my drive to region 1 for my Do America disc), it gives the options for the available regions for this disc, also pictured is my "My Computer" showing the label of the Disc that is in there- Futurama Season2 Disc 1-

As u can see the pic has both Region2 and Region 4, now arent u glad u waited for something u could have had 6 months ago    :D

Its the same for my Season2 Discs, and I'm about to order season3, I'll be sure to post if it is the same for them too    :)

edit2: damn link wont work- if u wanna see it try-

I got my S2 DVD a few days ago from Target. It's way better than the season 1 DVD. Has anyone listened to the audio commentaries yet? Are they as good as in the S1 DVD?

I actually prefer the season 1 dvd, but that was maybe because it was so good to finally have Futurama on dvd when i got it.

I've listened to most of the commentaries and they are fairly amusing, although they seem to be quite different from the season 1 ones.
